Park along the road. Start from the white cross at the intersection of roads.
(S/E) Take the road to the orphanage, with your back to the cross, and turn right. Pass a large building and at the next crossroads turn left towards Croppet until you reach a path.
(1) Go down the path just before the farm on the right. Continue for about 350 metres and look for a grassy path on the left, near a group of trees.
(2) Continue for about 100 metres until you see the Solnan river and take a short break (there is a picnic table just after the bridge).
(3) Return to the previous crossroads.
(2) Turn right onto the path. After the hay has been harvested, feel free to go a little further to your right and continue along the river.
(4) At the junction marked by a hedge (the path straight ahead is not shown on the map), turn left and climb up to the road.
(5) Take the paved road on the right (ignore the gravel paths on the right). At the next fork (sign), turn left to reach the campsite.
Leave the campsite, turn left onto the path and immediately left again onto the grassy path. Continue straight ahead.
(6) When you reach the paved road, turn left. Pass the Étang de la Baisse, cross the Bois de Bourdet and continue to the next intersection at the entrance to Bevey.
(7) Keep left and, about 100 metres further on, turn left again to leave the Route de la Baisse (current road name not specified).
(8) At the intersection, leave the tarmac and turn left onto Impasse du Grand Taillis. The farmer may have put up fences on the path, but you can still pass (on the right-hand side). Enter the grove via the main path to reach a Y-junction.
(9) Turn right, staying at the edge of the trees until you reach the crossroads, and return to the starting point (S/E).
