Park in the car park on Rue Joseph Bernier.
Follow the signs for "route la Vallière", which are clearly marked throughout the route.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, turn left onto Rue
Joseph Bernier, then follow the street, Chemin de l'Achar, and cross Route de Nantua with caution.
(1) At the wash house, turn right onto Chemin de Schall. This turns into a track after crossing the railway line. Continue to Chemin de Cuiron aux Rochettes and turn right onto this tarmac road. As you approach the equestrian centre, turn right and leave the road that leads to it.
(2) At the level crossing, turn right at an acute angle, then further on, cross the D979 road with caution to reach Chemin de Saumont on the other side of the road. Follow this road, which, after making a circular turn to the right at the end of the leat du Vau valley, leads to the first houses of Ceyzériat.
Continue straight ahead, still on Chemin du Saumon, until you reach the D52, which curves around. Continue left for about 100 metres and turn right onto Rue des Vignes. In the left-hand bend that follows, turn onto the path on the right and continue until you find a turning on the right.
(3) Turn right onto this path and follow Chemin de la Croix de Bois. At Rue des Billets, continue left until you reach number 14. Leave the street and take a small grassy lane opposite, Allée des Jardins, between a house and a garden. Cross the Vallière stream and join Rue de la Vallière.
Turn left and then left again onto Rue de la Cascade. Follow this road, continue straight ahead at the crossroads and continue for a few metres until you reach a left-hand bend.
(4) At the end of the bend, leave the road and take the small path downhill on the right. Reach the Vallière stream and follow it on the right until you reach the Vallière waterfall.
(5) At the waterfall, take the steps and join the Chemin du Colombier road. Follow it to the right and at the end, opposite the fire station, turn left. After a few metres, turn right onto Rue Jérome Lalande and you will reach a building with a small tower.
Continue a little further and, at the first archway, turn right onto Rue Joseph Juenin. Then turn left onto Rue du Doc Hudellet and, at the fountain with carved signs, turn right onto Rue Joseph Bernier until you reach the car park (S/E).
