Park at the start of the hiking trail after crossing the Jugnon bridge over the A40 motorway coming from Bourg-en-Bresse.
(S/E) At the Pont de Jugnon sign, take the path in front of you to reach the Chamby sign. Follow the yellowPR® markings at the edge of the woods. You will reach a Y-junction with two paths.
(1) Turn right to enter the Bois de Teyssonge, following the yellow markings on a tree. Continue until you reach the Chamby sign.
(2) Turn right towards Les Bruyères. Continue along a straight path to reach the edge of the woods again.
(3) Take the path on the left at the edge of the woods to reach the hamlet of Les Bruyères, visible in the distance.
(4) At the Les Bruyères sign, turn left and continue along the edge of the woods to easily reach the junction with the road connecting Granges Maisons to Les Bégonnières.
(5) Cross the road and take the grassy path that curves slightly to the left. A yellow arrow on the wooden pylon will guide you along the path to the next signpost for Les Bégonnières.
(6) Turn left and follow the road, enter the woods and continue to the Chamby sign. The Étang des Benonnières is on the right.
(2) Take the same route back to the car park where you started (S/E).
