Hike in the hills above Gengenbach. Car park next to a clinic. The route is accessible to all, with forest paths and small trails. The climb at the start is long but easy, and then you reach some small paths. At the end of the route, there is a magnificent view of the town of Gengenbach.
Genießerpfad – Hahn-und-Henne Circuit in Zell am Harmersbach (Premiumweg)

This charming pair of chickens will also accompany you on the approximately 14-kilometre-long “Rooster and Hen Trail” through the holiday landscape of the Central Black Forest, Gengenbach and Harmersbach Valley.

The ruins of Geroldseck Castle (Schonberg)

A route along small country lanes, which can be completed on foot or by bike (between 4 and 5 hours on foot). After an initial uphill section, you’ll discover a superb 360-degree panoramic view of the Black Forest at the top of the ruins.

A beautiful hike starting from Haslach that takes you to the Sacred Well and Chapel, the Urenkopf and the Devil's Pulpit rocks. Very pleasant in warm weather as it is mostly shaded but offers some beautiful views.

Allerheiligen waterfall and visit to the hamlet and abbey ruins
A pleasant short hike along the gorges, which are home to a series of waterfalls.
The hike can be done in either direction of the circular route.The direction of the circular loop shown is the ascent of the gorges and waterfalls. The path consists of steps to make the ascent easier.
Once you arrive in the hamlet of Allerheiligen, you will find amenities and places to eat.The ruins of an ancient abbey are open to visitors.
The return journey is along a forest road.There is a dedicated car park at the start/finish point.
Please note that this hike can be very popular and can get quite crowded, both in the car park and along the route.
Allerheiligen waterfall and Schliffkopf in the Black Forest
A beautiful circular hike starting at the foot of the Allerheiligen waterfall. Discover the old convent in the village. The route then climbs gradually to the heights above Ottenhöfen and finally loops back to Schliffkopf.
Lothar-Pfad or Spechtpfad trail in the Black Forest
A short trail (1 km) in the middle of a nature reserve allows you to discover two interesting things: how nature is rebuilding itself after the Lothar storm of 1999 without human intervention and how woodpeckers interact with trees.
Several variations of the route are available, including one that allows you to walk along the trail with a pushchair or wheelchair as it is made of wooden planks.Hikers can continue on the Panoramarundweg trail or take other hikes a little further afield (by bus or car) in the Black Forest (including the Allerheiligen waterfalls).
Ringelbacherkreuz – Schauenburg
A lovely walk through the forest and vineyards from the Ringelbacherkreuz (a small pass between Waldulm and Ringelbach) to the Schauenburg castle, which overlooks the town of Oberkirch. Superb views of the plain and Strasbourg from the Schauenburg.
Circular loop: Edelfrauengrab Wasserfälle and Karlsruher Grat
This route will take you from Ottenhöffen to Eichkopf, the Edelfrauengrab waterfalls, the Karlsruher Grat rocky ridge, the Scherzfelsen rock and back along the Acker river.
Mühlenweg (Mill Trail) in Ottenhöffen im Schwarzwald
On this circuit around the village of Ottenhöffen, you will see five mills, a water-powered forge and... numerous self-service schnapps fountains (Schnappsbrunnen). You are asked to pay for what you consume by putting your money in the box provided. Various non-alcoholic drinks are also available.The route passes through low mountain meadows and forests.

A short trip to the Nature Reserve on Rohrschollen Island at the gates of Strasbourg.

Please note that dogs are strictly prohibited in the reserve, even on a leash.
(5) June 2021: the city of Strasbourg has installed five rustic Highland Cattle cows on the island to clear the undergrowth beneath the power lines.
Circular at Mummelsee and Hornisgrinde
A hike in the Black Forest mountains, culminating in the glacial lake of Mummelsee and, on a clear day, a breathtaking view from the summit of Hornisgrinde over the Rhine Valley, Strasbourg and the Vosges mountains.
Mummelsee – Hornisgrinde – Ochsenstall – Unterstmatt – Dreifürstenstein
Hike to the highest peak in the northern Black Forest, the Hornisgrinde (1,164 m), which you climb twice, first from the south and then from the north. Superb panoramic view of the Rhine plain. You pass the TV transmitter with its impressive 206 m high transmission tower.
The route then passes through Ochsenstall, from where you reach the Unterstmatt ski resort. You return via another climb up the Hornisgrinde, then cross the peat bogs before passing the Dreifürstenstein.
Circular route from Kehl to Offenburg
A lovely ride through the beautiful villages along the Rhine between Kehl and Offenburg. The route follows cycle paths separated from traffic for almost the entire journey and is very well signposted throughout.
Boucle de Seibelseckle par Hinterer Langenbach et Wildsee
