(S/E) From the car park, go straight across the roundabout, passing the first exit on your right, and walk along the L102 road for about 150 metres. Take the second street on the right, Steinbachstrasse, which runs alongside the stream, and follow this street to the bridge spanning the confluence of the two streams.
(1) Continue straight on along Rue Steingraben. Carry on along this street, which curves to the right and begins to climb, becoming a track suitable for vehicles. Continue up the gentle slope, passing the riding centre and the sharp left-hand bend. The path now runs along the edge of the forest to reach St Conrad’s Chapel (open to visitors).
After a break, if you wish, leave the path on your right that heads into the forest and follow the path running parallel to it. Walk straight on without turning off and join another path.
(2) Continue to the right until you reach the first houses. Carry on along Ludwig-Auerbach-Strasse and turn into the third street on the right, Markstrasse.
(3) At the end of the street, turn left onto the main road, Hauptstraße, and cross the square with its fountain.
Follow this street for 200 metres and, at the three-way junction, turn right into Geroldseckstrasse.
(4) At the second three-way junction, leave this street on your right and continue left onto Hindenburgstrasse.
At the end of the street, carry on straight ahead along Siedlung Sankt-Josef-Josef. At the end of this, turn left into Langackerweg and walk for about 80 metres.
Keep going straight ahead along Reichenbacher Weg to return to the roundabout where you started and the car park (S/E).
