To reach the starting point, cross the village of Oberharmersbach and go to Riersbach station, opposite the fire station. Park in the car park on the other side of the tracks, as the first one is reserved for the restaurant.
(S/E) Cross back over the tracks and follow them to the level crossing. Cross and turn right onto Brugasse for about 300 m. Before the farm, turn left onto a small path through the meadow to reach a tarmac road. Turn right, pass the farm and head slightly to the right to reach a "self-service" point in a barrel.
(1) Turn left, following the "Genießerpfad" signs that will be present throughout the route, and you will come to a fork.
(2) Follow the path on the left through a wooded area and cross a stream.
(3) At the hairpin bend immediately after, turn right, continue uphill and reach the giant bench, a 30-metre-long tree trunk converted into seats and tables, offering panoramic views of the Harmersbach valley.
(4) Continue across the meadow, pass the observatory and enter the forest opposite to reach another refreshment point.
(5) Continue to the right to reach the hammock and its panoramic view.
(6) If you wish to have lunch at the Langenberg inn, follow the flat road for about 1 km, pass a farm and a bend to reach a crossroads.
(7) Continue downhill for about 100 m and take the path on the right that leads down to the inn.
(8) To return, walk back in the opposite direction to the crossroads.
(7) Turn right, then leave the road and go up to the right on the dirt track, staying on the edge of the woods.
(9) At the crossroads, turn right towards the panoramic viewpoint, ideal for souvenir photos, then towards the "cuddle hut" (Schmusehisli). Continue along this track to reach the Kreuzsattel inn.
(10) Walk past the inn and stay on the track for about 1.5 km.
(11) Leave the trail on the right and follow the "Genießerpfad" path.
(12) Keep to the right to reach a crossroads.
(13) Continue for 50 m to the crossroads and the three giant chairs, whose seats are more than 2 m above the ground!
(14) Turn left and continue to the next crossroads.
(15) Go straight ahead and follow this path until the next fork.
(16) Keep to the right, be careful as the descent is steep and may be slippery. You will arrive at a clearing.
(17) Continue to the right, pass the swing and continue to the edge of the woods. Continue downhill and reach the village, then the station car park (S/E).
