The Tramolé to Culin loop
A walk along the paths and small tarmac roads of northern Isère. It presents one challenge: a steep, rutted descent that may worry occasional walkers. Otherwise, there is little elevation gain.

A very beautiful day's walk on more than 90% paths and trails, in the undergrowth surrounded by nature where you can really breathe, not far from Bourgoin-Jallieu and Lyon.
Aillat, Grande Forêt from Chèzeneuve
This walk is taken from the "Du bois de la Vacheresse à celui du Revollet" hike by Jipedeu, of which it forms the western wing.
A pleasant alternation between woods, clearings and cultivated fields. Few roads and lots of clean, well-maintained paths, very pleasant in all seasons.
Quinsonnas Castle and the Verneicu valley
A lovely, pleasant and varied walk. There are no difficulties to be feared, as the elevation gain is well distributed.
Towards Quinsonnas, you will have beautiful views of the mountains. You will pass three interesting buildings: the Château de Quinsonnas, the Demeure de Fichaillon and the Church of Vermelle. The icing on the cake is the descent into the charming valley of the Verneicu stream.
The Devil's Stone route in Artas
This is a walk with little elevation gain and no difficulty, except for the distance. You will stroll through the rolling countryside of northern Isère. As a bonus, you can walk around the Pierre du Diable (Devil's Rock) and maybe even climb it!
Route of the two castles in Sérézin-de-la-Tour
A lovely walk in the heart of northern Isère. It offers numerous panoramic views, from the summit of Mont Blanc to the Chartreuse Mountains.

Around the Etang de Rosière
This is an easy, short hike offering superb views of the Vercors and Chartreuse mountains once you reach the plateau.
The route takes us through wooded areas and agricultural plateaus, mixing shade and light.
Best done in good weather to enjoy the coolness of the forest and the unobstructed view.
From Bois de la Casse to Loudon
Hike around Montbernier, between forest and plateau. A lovely, gentle route around Montbernier. Beautiful views of the surrounding area as you walk across the plateaus. A shaded route that combines forest and field paths.
Wild nature between Saint-Alban and Four
You don't have to go to the ends of the earth to get away from it all. In the first part of this route, you will discover wild and little-used paths before a more sedate second part.
The Two V Route in Champier
The only difficulty with this walk is its length. It will allow you to wander through the heart of the Dauphiné countryside. Here and there, it offers views of the surrounding peaks: Chartreuse, Vercors, Monts du Pilat, Monts du Lyonnais.
The two V's are the localities of Vernondière and Vernay.
Tour of the Bois de Gourand in Champier
This walk alternates between countryside and forest, with a very reasonable elevation gain. It also offers some beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.
Montjoux Pond
A short walk that will take you to the Étang de Monjoux and its educational trail. On the way back, you will pass in front of the Saint-Pierre Chapel in Bournay.
Circular starting from Saint-Jean-de-Bournay
A very pleasant walk in the heart of the valleys of northern Isère. Apart from the distance, there are no difficulties to be feared. The elevation changes are well distributed. The walk takes place in a triangle between Saint-Jean-de-Bournay, Artas and Charantonnay.
The Clock Tower and Saint Hugon Chapel
This walk presents no major difficulties apart from the distance. The first part takes place mainly in the woods, the second in the Dauphiné bocage. It will take you past several ponds, up to the Clock Tower, and to the amazing Saint-Hugon Chapel.
The Monks' Path in Lieudieu
This walk is not difficult. It alternates between woodland and the Dauphiné bocage. It takes you past three beautiful residences: the fortified house of Cazeneuve, Bonnevaux Castle and Avril (or Arzay) Castle, as well as a few ponds.
Around Haut Biol
This is a short walk, best enjoyed on a clear day.
It offers exceptional panoramic views stretching from the Monts de l'Ain to the peaks of the eastern Vercors, via the Dent du Chat, Mont Blanc, the Chartreuse, the Belledonne peaks, Taillefer and Dévoluy.
There are no particular difficulties along the route.

In good weather, you will have magnificent views of the Alps and the Lyon metropolitan area.
The Étangs de Nantoin
An easy walk among the ponds in the heart of the Nantoin Forest. At the end of the walk, you will be rewarded with a splendid view of the Liers plain, the Chartreuse, the Alps and the Vercors.

The Étang des Béroudières
You start by crossing the Gourand woods and then the Béroudières woods. At the end of the walk, you will pass a beautiful string of ponds. Along the route, you will have some beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.
