Park in the car park of the former Éparres town hall, at the roundabout between the Culin road and the village road.
Yellow markings cover almost the entire route.
(S/E) Head west-southwest towards Impasse de la Fournasse, turn left at the first path. Continue until you reach the La Roche sign
(1) At the old cross, turn left and follow the sign for L'Orme, then return towards the houses. You will reach the junction with a farm track.
(2) Take it on the right, reach the edge of the forest, continue on the right along the path that descends rapidly into the valley. Be careful, the path runs along a small precipice. Be careful and stay on the left side of the path. At the bottom of the descent, turn left onto the path that runs alongside the RD56. Do not join the road, reach the spring catchment with a small hut on the left.
(3) Continue along the path running alongside the houses, then turn left (180°) onto a small path that climbs steeply towards the plateau. Take the farm track on the left and climb northwards to the tarmac road.
(4) Turn right onto it, taking care to watch out for traffic. Descend to the first intersection, which is Chemin du Bréchet. Turn left onto this path, leave it at the bend to go left and climb up to reach the L'Orme sign, where you will find yourself back on a tarmac road.
(5) Turn right and cross the hamlet of L'Orme. Take care with the traffic on this crossing. Ignore the various roads on the left and right and continue to a wide left-hand bend. After this bend, take the farm track on the left, passing a large farm on your right. Continue straight ahead on the farm track that crosses the fields. You will reach the edge of the Bois de la Cure woods.
(6) Enter the woods and begin the descent towards the village of Vermelle. At the first intersection, turn right onto the small tarmac road and continue to the village. You will arrive at the crossroads by the chapel of Vermelle.
(7) Take the road on the left and pass in front of the chapel entrance. Continue along the tarmac road, ignoring the road on the right leading to La Mengattière, and reach the multiple crossroads at the Le Carcat sign.
(8) Turn left onto the path that climbs gently along the stream. On the way up, ignore the first path on your right and continue to the pond.
(9) Walk along it, then immediately take the path that climbs to the right and then turns left. Continue climbing to reach the hamlet of Berthon. At the first house, take the tarmac road on the right and cross the hamlet. Stay on Impasse de Bacha to reach the crossroads with Route de Trappes.
(10) Turn right, then at the next intersection, turn left onto Chemin de l'Amieux. Stay on this path until you reach another crossroads with a sign for En Verrière.
(11) Turn left across the field. Continue through the fields until you reach a right-angled crossroads. Turn left onto the path separating the fields. Continue south-east until you reach a crossroads of tarmac roads.
(12) Continue straight ahead, reach and cross the hamlet of Brin, then climb slightly to reach the hamlet of Plan.
(13) Turn left. Leave the tarmac road on your right and continue along the path. You will reach the edge of the forest. Continue along the edge of the forest and then enter it. Descend quickly towards the Combe de Valausin. Follow the hairpin bend path to the RD56.
Take this road, keeping to the left, and cross two small bridges. You will reach the Combe Valausin sign.
(14) Turn 180° to the left to take the path that climbs back up to the plateau. Continue to the crossroads with the La Roche sign, which you passed at the start.
(1) Turn left and retrace your steps to return to the car park at the old Éparres town hall (S/E).
