A short walk to explore the area around Cromac, following the River Benaize
Discover the Anglin, from the ruins of Brosse to the Seillant Mill
This walk follows aPR® trail, allowing you to discover the ruins of Château de Brosse, near Chaillac in the Indre department, then the pretty village of Seillant, as you stroll along the refreshing banks of the Anglin river.
Étang de la Chaume
The vast Étang de la Chaume conceals little-known spots that this interpretive route invites you to discover as you walk along part of the shoreline and wander through the surrounding woods and heathland. Please be considerate of wildlife and anglers, and wear sturdy footwear in wet weather.
Towards the Bois Cornu
Not far from Vareilles, this is a pleasant walk that takes you briefly into the woods in question. From here, it’s perfectly possible to venture as far as the shores of the nearby Étang de la Chaume.
On the hills above Azérables
This short route takes you past the splendid buildings hidden away in the village of Azérables, before taking you up to higher ground to admire them once more, this time in their natural setting.
From chapel to bell tower on the Dunet side
This pleasant walk takes you along beautiful paths and pretty little roads around the village of Dunet, south-west of Indre, in the southern Boischaut region. In addition to the typical hedgerow landscapes of this natural region, you can admire the beautiful bell tower of the 13th-century Saint-Martial church and the 12th-century chapel in Vouhet.Please note: the route has been temporarily modified between (10) and (11) (see Description and Practical Information sections)
A glimpse of the Benaize
A short stretch of quiet road marks the start of this route, which winds through the area around Bussière-Madeleine and continues along beautiful paths, crossing the Ruisseau de la Benaize. Charming discoveries also take us in the footsteps of a famous local figure.
Meet at Aliénor d'Aquitaine, setting off from Lignac
This pleasant walk takes you around the area near Lignac, as well as the beautiful castle and the picturesque village of Château Guillaume, which owes its name to William IX, father of Eleanor of Aquitaine, who built it in the late12th century.
Circuit de Roussines autour du bois de Chinan
This hike is suitable for cycling (but it's really mountain biking), walking and horse riding.You can admire the majestic oak tree in Saint-Civran, which is several hundred years old, perhaps even a thousand.
The Faille des Trois Provinces
Cascading streams, mysterious places of worship and unexpected views set the scene for this short, fairly hilly route through the Versille countryside. You’ll pass from the Sédelle valley to the Chaudron valley, walking over the hills that form the geological fault line of the Marche fault. Where possible, do bring a smartphone to access the information provided along the route.
The Bois de Derrière
The Bois de Derrière route combines wide paths, lovely tracks and small, well-shaded roads. The hedgerow landscape is a major part of the charm of this easy walk. Ponds, wash houses, fords, ditches and wet pastures: although subtle, water is present throughout the landscape.

Randoguide: Bridiers through the ages
On the outskirts of La Souterraine, set off on this guided walk which, from antiquity to the end of the Middle Ages, brings to life the daily lives of our ancestors. Human settlement here has a long history, the evolution of which can be traced through the landscape.
From the shores of the Étang du Cheix to the sunken paths lined with boxwood, from the archaeological remains scattered throughout the countryside to the imposing silhouette of the castle, this excursion will transport you through time and across the ages.

A lovely walk starting from Chazelet, a village in the Brenne Regional Nature Park, offering the chance to explore the bocage landscapes of the Boischaut-Sud region of the Indre in the Abloux valley, along a variety of small roads, paths and trails.

La Pierre Folle in Saint-Priest-la-Feuille
