Park near the Mondon campsite or leisure centre.
(S/E) With your back to the campsite and facing the Étang de Mondon, head right to reach the Route de la Forge de Mondon, D60. Turn left and find a path branching off to the right, before the pond and a house.
Take the wooded path. Join the Ruisseau la Benaize stream and follow it towards the Pot Bouillant.
(1) Continue along the path which rejoins the D60. At the road, turn left and enter Lascroux. At the stop sign, turn left onto the D105. Walk very carefully along the road. Pass the entrance to Lacroux Castle and arrive at a crossroads marked by a wayside cross on the right. Keep an eye out for a track branching off to the left, a few metres from the crossroads.
(2) Take the track and head down towards the old mill. Follow the Ruisseau la Benaize stream more or less closely and end up on the road.
(3) Turn left and cross the bridge. Follow the Route de Montalbert until you reach the hamlet of the same name. Walk through it, ignoring a road on the right, then take a path leading off to the left shortly after the exit.
(4) Turn left onto the path that crosses the Ruisseau des Vergnes. Ignore a turn-off to the right before coming out onto the Route de la Coupe de Mondon.
(5) Turn left and, further on, cross the Ruisseau le Clevert.
(6) Immediately after the bridge, take a path on the left (not shown on IGN maps). Follow it to the end. At the end, turn left. Facing the pond, go left to return to the starting point (S/E).
