Towards the Bishops' Castle
From Condom to Larressingle through vineyards and cereal fields on pleasant paths. The return journey from the fortified village to Condom is gentle, mainly along theGR®65.
The Little Carcassonne of the Gers
Along the shaded paths, you will overlook the Baïse and Osse valleys before reaching Larressingle. The former residence of the bishops of Condom has retained all the splendour of its medieval fortifications.
Castelnau-sur-l'Auvignon – Montréal-du-Gers
Thirty-seventh stage of the Way of St James. On this fairly long stage, you start off walking along undulating, grassy paths to Condom, a small town steeped in history and full of life. Your route then takes you over hill and dale, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vineyards in the Armagnac region, to Montréal-du-Gers.
Please note: in wet weather, some sections can be very muddy and slippery.
Bois des Moines and Graziac
Newly re-routed, the Baïse towpath allows you to reach Condom from Valence, following the river for 11 km. This circular route joins the double lock at Graziac via forest paths, returning through the valley.

In the fields of Mouchan
The Gers is a hilly region, and this walk confirms it. The route winds its way up and down, offering ever-changing views of the fields and vineyards, the village of Mouchan and, in the distance, Mansencôme Castle. It starts and ends in the village of Mouchan, which offers many points of interest: the wash house, the weighbridge, La Pachère, the Roman Bridge, the Bourdette mill, the “Autrefois en Gascogne” museum, etc...

A pleasant and varied route, starting from Valence-sur-Baïse, which can be enjoyed in all seasons, with the aim of visiting the double lock at Graziac.

Blaziert is a picturesque little village, ideal for a nice picnic break before or after your hike. The route offers varied scenery throughout, dotted with vineyards, sunflower fields in July and beautiful houses in the valleys of Ténarèze.
