The Montfaucon Walk

(S/E) Opposite the Saint-Puy multi-purpose hall, go down the stairs, cross the Route de Condom (D654) to reach the Porte du Couloumé. Follow the path which descends and then climbs back up to the Moulin de Montfaucon.

(1) Continue along the route to the Chemin du Chrestian, then carry on to the right until you reach the Croix de l’Escalette. Turn left to reach the Fontaine du Chrestian.

(2) Turn right to walk alongside the sewage treatment plant and reach the Calamet wash house.

(3) Opposite the wash house, head up the path to the right, cross the Route de Condom (D654) with care and turn right to follow this road along the path at the top of the embankment until you reach the vineyard hut.

(4) Pass to the left of the hut and continue along the path which climbs up to Boulevard du Couchant. Walk up the boulevard to the left until you reach the junction with Avenue René Lassus, then turn right to reach the junction with Boulevard de la Porte Neuve. Turn right here and walk past the workshops to reach Rue Bazin. Go round the church on the right to reach the entrance to the Jardin des cinq sens.

(5) Continue left along Rue du Midi de l’Église, then Rue de l’Église. Return to Avenue René Lassus and turn right to reach the community hall (S/E).
