Description of the walk

Park in the designated spaces on Avenue René Lassus.

(S/E) Turn right onto Avenue de la Porte Baron, then left onto Rue Feard. Then turn right towards the Caussens road

(1) Turn left at the edge of the woods and continue until you reach the road called Chemin du Vicnau. Follow it to the right for a few hundred metres.

(2) Turn right just before the place called Bidet. Follow a dirt track to the road at Terre Blanche. Go straight ahead.

(3) Go down the path on the left and rejoin the road you left earlier.

(4) Turn right and follow the road to the hamlet of Vicnau.

(5) Go straight ahead towards the Bellevue woods. Continue along the dirt track, cross the woods and rejoin the road.

(6) Turn left and follow the road for a few hundred metres

(7) Turn left again and follow the ridge path (beautiful scenery). You will come to a crossroads.

(8) Go straight ahead. Follow the vineyards on your right and, at a fork, turn right along the vineyard.

(9) At the start of a small road, turn left. Join the D654, cross it carefully and follow it to the right.

(10) Shortly before a crossroads, take a path on the left. Cross the stream and go around a pond on the left. Then turn left and continue straight ahead.

(11) Keep left. Turn right at the T-junction and follow a large farm building. Join a small road and follow it for about 50 metres.

(12) When the road turns left, continue straight ahead on a path. Continue straight ahead until you reach the old Calamet wash house (in use until the late 1970s).

(13) Turn left. Join the D654, cross it with caution and follow it to the right for about 100 metres.

(14) Leave the road when it turns right, take a path on the left and pass a vineyard hut. Come out onto Boulevard du Couchant and follow it to the left for about 50 metres. At the crossroads, turn right twice and head towards the church.

(15) Opposite the church entrance, turn right and walk along the church on your left. At the crossroads, turn right and walk past the town hall. At the next crossroads, turn right to return to the starting point (S/E).
