Chassy Castle Circular Walk
This circular walk starting from Chassy will allow you to discover the Church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens (11th century), the 15th-century castle, as well as the village communal oven and wash house. Passes by the Étang Noir. The walk follows small tarmac roads and dirt tracks.
Loop via the Canal du Centre and the RCEA from Saint-Vincent-Bragny
Magnificent landscape without too much elevation gain. Very pleasant hike as there is little traffic, even on the roads. Please note: there are no water sources for 35 km. You will need to bring supplies for this long, pleasant route along the water's edge in the forest and along the RCEA. You can stop at a bakery about halfway along the route in Paray-le-Monial.
Rigny-sur-Arroux circular
This circular route takes you up to the heights of Rigny-sur-Arroux. The route is mainly on paths and through the forest.
Uxeau circular loop via Mont Dardon
A lovely circular walk along country lanes and through woodland. The walk takes you around Mont Dardon, passing numerous chestnut trees.
Route du Bois du Nom
Starting from Toulon-sur-Arroux, this route winds its way through forests, meadows and footpaths. It follows the River Arroux and passes through the village of Montmort, offering a true immersion in the heart of nature.

Charolais bocage between Bourbince and Arconce
A lovely, peaceful walk through the Charolais countryside. The route has almost no traffic and very little tarmac. You’ll pass through beautiful forests accompanied by birdsong. At the start, you can visit the basilica in Paray-le-Monial; halfway through, why not pop into the riding centre? Note: There are many variations on this walk if you take a map with you.

This short circuit, accessible to all, passes by several ponds and most of Uchon's rocky sites. 85% of the route is in the shade. It's a short walk, but you can enjoy a meal beforehand or afterwards at the Auberge de la Croix de Messire Jean (hostel).
