Chassy Castle Circular Walk
This circular walk starting from Chassy will allow you to discover the Church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens (11th century), the 15th-century castle, as well as the village communal oven and wash house. Passes by the Étang Noir. The walk follows small tarmac roads and dirt tracks.
Loop via the Canal du Centre and the RCEA from Saint-Vincent-Bragny
Magnificent landscape without too much elevation gain. Very pleasant hike as there is little traffic, even on the roads. Please note: there are no water sources for 35 km. You will need to bring supplies for this long, pleasant route along the water's edge in the forest and along the RCEA. You can stop at a bakery about halfway along the route in Paray-le-Monial.
Rigny-sur-Arroux circular
This circular route takes you up to the heights of Rigny-sur-Arroux. The route is mainly on paths and through the forest.

Short Uchon trail
This short circuit, accessible to all, passes by several ponds and most of Uchon's rocky sites. 85% of the route is in the shade. It's a short walk, but you can enjoy a meal beforehand or afterwards at the Auberge de la Croix de Messire Jean (hostel).

From Verosvres to Chevagny-sur-Guye via the GR®7
On the GR®7 trail between the Col des Vaux, in the commune of Verosvres, and Chevagny-sur-Guye, passing by the Butte de Suin
This is a very quiet section of the GR®7. There are no signposts at some junctions and no footprints in the tall grass to mark the route, so you must take an IGN map with you, although a GPS device is preferable.
This section of the GR® needs to be more popular, as it is not difficult and offers beautiful scenery. The view from the Butte de Suin is magnificent.
From Verosvres to Mont Rigaud via the GR®7
On the GR®7 trail, between the Col des Vaux in the commune of Verosvres and Mont Rigaud, passing through the village of Saint-Bonnet-des-Bruyères.
There are many shaded sections in the forest and beautiful landscapes.
The trail is sometimes unmarked, so bring an IGN map, but it is preferable to have a GPS device.

This hike is part of the Grande Traversée de la Bourgogne du Sud (Great Crossing of Southern Burgundy) route, which, together with the Grande Traversée de l'Yonne and the Grande Traversée du Morvan, make up the Via Burgundia.
