From Étang des Forges to Brocas
(Alternative to the PR® routes)
This small village is making every effort to attract tourists to its peaceful rural setting, just an hour from the coast and an hour and a half from the Pyrenees.

Ribarrouy circuit from Retjons
Loop between pine forest and winding path along the Ribarrouy stream.
Circular loop starting from Suzan
The Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, situated in the open countryside and completely isolated, is the starting point for numerous routes. This route combines a signposted trail (Landes Departmental Committee) with a walk through wooded areas and past fountains.
The church and chapel of Lugaut in Retjons
This route, starting from the renovated church in Retjons and passing through a forest of pine and other tree species, will take you to the Chapel of Lugaut, a listed historic monument, and along a pleasant path beside the Ribarrouy Stream.
In the Mazerolles Forest
A lovely route along paths through the woodland, skirting a charming little river in places. You’ll find the soothing atmosphere of the pine trees and, in summer, the welcome shade of the oaks and chestnut trees.
Between (4) and (5), the old village path runs alongside a forestry estate; you must stay on the path and must not enter the forestry estate.
This route is designed for horse riding.
From Bougue to Laglorieuse via the Val de Pujo – Map
A lovely walk through woods and fields, also suitable for hybrid bikes, amongst beautiful estates. Perhaps a little monotonous on foot.
Arjuzanx and Commanday Lakes
This route goes around the two large lakes of Arjuzanx, Lake Commanday and Lake Arjuzanx.
The track is on a gravel path and is suitable for mountain bikes.
Amidst vineyards and streams to the west of Arthez-d’Armagnac
A lovely walk, over hills, sometimes quite sunny, through vineyards and alongside streams, with some lovely views.
La Motte de Saint-Julien-d'Armagnac route
Circular walking loop starting from Betbezer-d'Armagnac in the Bas Armagnac countryside in the Landes region on the border with the Gers. You will pass castles, cross vineyards, wooded valleys and hedgerows, and visit the village of Saint-Julien-d'Armagnac perched on a feudal mound.
This route is marked by the Landes General Council with horizontal signs and direction changes.
Circuit of the Moncaut springs from Lussolle
Easy loop starting from Lussolle and passing through the pine forest to the springs of Moncaut.

The quarries, the paths of yesteryear
In the heart of the Armagnac Noir region, known as “las carrières”, the old paths criss-cross a remarkable rolling landscape where forests, meadows, vineyards and maize fields alternate.
Three fountains circuit in Sainte-Colombe
This short hike allows you to discover the three fountains of Sainte-Colombe from the Trinquet car park: the Huguenots fountain, then the Téoulé fountain and finally the Hounrède fountain.
Please note: the trail is closed from 1 October to 30 November (hunting season).

Aire-sur-l'Adour - Arzacq Arraziguet
The forty-first stage of the Way of St James. This fairly long stage takes you through the villages of Sensacq and then Pimbo before entering the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. This department is the convergence point for all routes to Santiago de Compostela. You will enjoy the landscapes of the Landes and, depending on visibility, you will have some beautiful views of the Tursan and the Pyrenees.

Explore the area around Caupenne-d’Armagnac. From the route, you can also visit the traditional villages of Espagnet and Salles-d’Armagnac.

Lanne Soubiran – Aire-sur-l'Adour
The fortieth stage of the Way of St James. On this stage, which ends in Aire-sur-l'Adour, you leave the department of Gers and enter the Landes. You also leave behind the muddy and slippery paths to arrive, once past the town of Aire-sur-l'Adour, on the lakeside walk at Lac de Brousseau.
Adour trail from Hinx to Préchacq-les-Bains
This section of the Adour Trail runs between Hinx and Préchacq-les-Bains. It can be walked in either direction as a round trip or as a one-way trip, in which case you will need two vehicles.
A stroll through the heart of the Bazas countryside
On either side of the Beuve Valley, the Bazadais region is cut by numerous steep-sided valleys. The woods form a jigsaw puzzle with the cultivated fields and meadows brought to life by herds of cows, horses and sheep. This beautiful walk will take you along the small roads and forest paths of the Bazadais region.
The Adour Trail from Saint-Vincent-de-Paul to Candresse
This section of the Sentier de l’Adour runs between Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and Candresse.

This section of the Sentier de l'Adour between Candresse and Hinx can be done in both directions as a round trip or as a one-way trip. In this case, you will need two vehicles.
The mills of Barthos
Hike in southern Gironde, with a succession of typical rural landscapes: old farms with tobacco drying sheds, the Landes de Gascogne forest and old mills.
The route follows the yellow or green departmental markings, along quiet country roads and forest paths.
Not to be done during the wood pigeon hunting season (early October to 15 November).
Tour of Lake La Prade
The route has been beautifully redeveloped; it is pleasant and tree-lined. An ideal walk for nature lovers.
