A very pleasant walk in a gently undulating area. You pass from hamlet to hamlet through the pine forest. The route consists of small roads, forest paths and D.F.C.I. tracks. You’ll come across several small lakes and ponds.

Circular on the heights of Saint-Louis-en-Isle
A lovely walk in the forest. Well shaded, ideal for walks on sunny days. The path is very easy to follow. This route has a slight elevation gain with gentle ascents and descents, making it ideal for a Sunday outing with the family. We completed the route in 1 hour and 15 minutes with a group of adults walking at a leisurely pace.
Route du Pont des Gouttes in Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire
The walk takes you through the heart of the countryside, past apple trees, vineyards, maize fields and more. You’ll cross the Pont des Gouttes and discover one of the most beautiful Carthusian monasteries in the Périgord, dating from 1686. This route is suitable for all ages.
St-Jean and St-Séverin d'Estissac, the Landais Trail and the Bost walk
No major points of interest on this circular route, apart from the charming little church in Saint-Séverin. Peace and quiet, peace and quiet, peace and quiet, and birdsong! A succession of quiet country lanes and fire tracks for the first, longer section. The final stretch between the two villages is more varied. Option to shorten the route.
The circular ridge path in Villamblard
This hike allows you to discover the town at the bottom of the valley, passing from one ridge to another via forest tracks and paths, with little use of roads. It is accessible to all, without difficulty, and is well marked in yellow.
Pineuilh – Saint-Philippe-du-Seignal Circular Route
The route is dominated by the vineyards of the Sainte-Foy Bordeaux appellation and offers remarkable views. You can admire the windmills, a rich rural heritage such as dovecotes and the many wine châteaux.
Valareilh (Vallereuil)
A challenging hike mainly on shaded woodland trails or paths. Beautiful views of the valleys and small hamlets scattered throughout the countryside.
Château de Bridoire at the start of Rouffignac-de-Sigoulès
A very pleasant circular walk through vineyards, woodland and plains. The walk starts at Rouffignac cemetery but can also start at the magnificent Château de Bridoire (15th and 16th centuries - visits, games for children, etc.). Crossing the Gardonnette ford is a little tricky.
The Oak Trail of Saint-Sauveur de Bergerac
This walk complements the existing local routes. It takes place mainly in the forest. The start of the route is a path with botanical information boards. It can be combined with other walks.

A lovely country walk through unspoilt countryside. Along the way, you will discover the Étangs de la Double ponds, which provide a wild and unspoilt refuge for animals. Take a break at the Cistercian Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bonne Espérance and enjoy the famous "Trappe Échourgnac" cheese.
La Guirandolle loop in Eygurande-Gardedeuilh
A trail in the heart of the Double Forest that winds through woods and paths, crossed here and there by a small stream. Ponds will appear as you walk along. A very shaded trail, ideal for families as there is little road.
Route des Bois in Margueron
Margueron is a small commune where the rural character remains very much alive.
Crops and woods dominate the landscape, and vineyards occupy a prominent place here.
The woods are ideal places to recharge your batteries, observe the remaining natural environment and escape from everyday life.
The proposed route offers varied landscapes with a rural and authentic character.
These characteristics can be found in the small church of Margueron, typical of the region with its bell tower.
Route from La Tour to Les-Lèves-et-Thoumeyragues
Throughout the hike, mills, wine châteaux and churches combine to offer hikers a charming backdrop in a natural and varied setting. Don't miss the Romanesque church of Thoumeyragues, which is said to have been built by the monks of Saint-Émilion.
Also worth seeing: the Bouhets dovecote and the Château de la Beauze (early 16th century).
Saint-Avit-de-Soulège circular
You will walk alongside the Soulège, a small 13km stream, and discover the village church, rebuilt in 1866. You can also visit the Moulin de Moustelat, built in 1724 and still in operation.
Also worth seeing is the elm tree planted in 1848, symbolising the freedom won after the Revolution, which is in perfect health. It still resists the disease that has struck other trees of its species.
Circular Bois de Madame in Saint-Quentin-de-Caplong
This circular route is accessible to beginner hikers who want to discover the rolling landscapes of Saint-Quentin-de-Caplong. It follows part of theGR®654trail and part of the Voie de Vézelay route to Santiago de Compostela. Along the way, you'll enjoy varied, rolling landscapes dotted with streams and wine châteaux.
