The car park and the ‘hiking’ information board are located below the village of Saint-Jean-d'Estissac, at a picnic area.
(S/E) Take the road on the left and leave the village.
(1) At the first junction, take the Route de la Daurade onthe right (signposted “Boucle du sentier du Landais”). At the junction below the hamlet of La Daurade, leave the Chemin des Chevreuils and the link to the Villamblard circular loop on your right.
(2) Immediately turn right towards the hamlet, then take the path that starts between house no. 1113 and a barn. At a crossroads, continue straight ahead.
(3) At the road, turn left. Pass the Cheminde Bernoux on your right and continue along the road. Further on, pass the DFCI Loumagne track on your right, then the Route de Bert on your left, and continue along the road.
(4) Shortly afterwards, turn left onto the DFCI Loumagne track, towards Saint-Séverin.
(5) At the T-junction, you can opt to follow only the “Circular Route of the Landais” by turning left to reach the point directly (13). Otherwise, turn right towards “Promenade du Bost”.
(6) At the road, turn right. The road descends into the Vallon de la Crempsoulie, where the stream is intermittent, then climbs back up on the opposite side.
(7) Once at the top, turn left onto the DFCI Valle01 track. This section is shared with the Vallereuil circular loop. Then pass the sign for "Boucle de Vallarelh, Chantérac" on your right and continue along the track. At the crossroads, carry straight on until you reach a road.
(8) Ignore the Route de Puyastier and the link road to Sourzac ahead, and turn left. Please note, this is a busy road.
(9) At the next crossroads, turn onto the small road on the right (sign for “Pension félins et compagnie”).
(10) At the entrance to the hamlet of Le Nègre, opposite the municipal information board, continue right onto Route des Artisans. Turn left immediately and walk past a shed on your right. Then turn left at gate no. 126. Shortly afterwards, at a T-junction, leave the sign for “Circular Route of the Nègre aux Petits Clauds” on your right and head left towards “Bourg de Saint-Séverin”. Turn immediately right and go downhill to the Stop sign.
(11) Continue to the right. After passing La Crempsoulie, turn left towards Saint-Séverin and head up to the village.
(12) After a car park, leave the sign for Vallereuil on your left and continue straight ahead along Rue de l’Église. There is a picnic area and viewpoint near the church. After climbing the hill, follow Rue de Ceinture to the right. At the junction with a road where there is a house on the corner, turn right.
(13) Immediately on the left, you’ll come to the Chemin de la Circular Route of the Landais, which you left at point (5). Continue straight on along the DFCI track, towards “Le Mas Buisson”. At a house, the track becomes a tarmac road.
(14) At the junction with a main road, cross carefully and take the path opposite. You will soon reach a wider path. Follow it to the right, then immediately ignore the sign for “Verneuil” on the left and continue straight ahead.
(15) At the crossroads, ignore the path to Issac on your right and turn left towards "Sentier du Landais".
(16) Watch out for the three-way junction; leave the main path on your right, as well as the one in the middle, and head completely to the left.
(1) At the junction with the road, turn right and, following the route in reverse, head back to the car park and picnic area (S/E).
