(S/E) Start the Sentier du Petit Poucet from the wooden hut with an arrow pointing towards ‘En compagnie de Poucet’. Take the path on the left when facing the hut. Follow the path for 50m, then take the first path on the right which leads into the woods. Continue until you reach a main path. Turn left onto it, following the red cap. Take the first path on the right (signposted Chemin du Picataou). After finding the object (axe), turn right. At the next object (hut), continue along the path to the left, passing the red cap drawing. After a few metres, at the junction with another path, turn right, then quickly turn left.
(1) Follow the winding path down (red dots on the trees). At the bottom of the valley, cross the wooden walkway which keeps your feet dry in this sometimes damp valley floor and head straight ahead. After the object to be found, take the path on the left which crosses a first walkway then a second. At the end of the path, at the junction, turn left then right. Continue straight on to the arboretum, which features forty species of trees from all over the world.
(2) At the arboretum, turn left towards the forest house. Watch out for the ogre!!! Take the path on the left. Before reaching the end of the path, turn right onto the path that descends into the woods. Find the object before passing the ‘Pita Foun’ fountain, which is said to protect your feet from the pricks of aggressive plants (brambles, etc.). Back on the main path, turn left, find the last object before returning to the starting point (S/E).
