This circular route allows you to explore the two villages of Peyrusse-le-Roc:
- the village around the church is the current village,
- on the slopes, the ruined medieval city.
If you are already familiar with it, the hike offers an unusual arrival point. If you are not familiar with it, it will make you want to come back to explore the area in more detail.
Tour of Lentillac-Saint-Blaise via its hamlets
Discover the village of Lentillac-Saint Blaise from the hamlets overlooking it. Labat, Le Puech, Polzes and Lacaze all offer typical Quercy dwellings and bear witness to the agricultural and wine-growing activity that once took place there.

Discovering Viviez-bourg
Come and discover the town of Viviez-bourg with a geo-embedded audio route. Once a poor rural town in Aveyron, at the confluence of streams that made it a breeding ground, it later became the small town of zinc. It is rich in its industrial heritage and its inhabitants who have transformed and shaped it over time. Scan the QR code on the starting panel and let yourself be guided and listen to its history. Lunan and Capdenac le Haut circular
This circular route is a combination of two referenced routes: the Lunan route at the beginning and end, and the Capdenac route in the middle. This route is not particularly difficult and offers superb views of the Lot valley and the town of Capdenac-Gare, as well as allowing you to visit the medieval town of Capdenac le Haut.

The four valleys around Agnac

Saint-Santin, at the crossroads of three departments
A small, peaceful village with a hill called Garenne as its promontory, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside, Saint-Santin is a village shared between Cantal and Aveyron (two schools, two town halls and two churches). The Lot department is also very close by. The proposed route offers an easy and pleasant hike which, in spring or summer, can serve as a botanical and photographic tour.
Larroque-Toirac and Pech de Bourrou viewpoint
A lovely walk in the hills above Larroque-Toirac, offering a different perspective on the Lot valley. Viewpoints on the cliff edge overlooking the Lot valley and a walk on the limestone plateau. A short hike through woodland and open spaces. Suitable footwear is recommended.
Circuit de Fournoulès le long du Dragonnier et du Célé
Circuit en boucle sur la commune de Fournoulès regroupée avec Saint-Constant, à travers les bois et qui permet de découvrir le joli village retiré de Fournoulès et de belles vues panoramiques.
The Buissières à la Vinzelle trail
A circular route starting from La Vinzelle, allowing you to discover mountain streams and waterfalls, superb views of the Lot valley from the heights and ending with a tour of the village.
Les karstic caves de Compolibat
During this circuit, you will discover a geological curiosity, the karstic caves of Py and Rouffiès, composed of fairy chimneys. The village is picturesque with its 13th-century church and bell tower surrounded by four pinnacles. The second part of the circuit offers a view of the village and the crossing of the Aveyron on an old bridge, the Pont du Cambon.
Aveyron Valley and hillsides at Prévinquières and Mirabel
Walk along the banks of the Aveyron and on the hillsides with a botanical trail and another on the maquisards. Pretty views, beech, chestnut and oak forests, moors on the hillsides.
Route of the two mills around Saint-Cirgues
Follow the paths through the hills of Saint-Cirgues to discover the remains of the water mills along the Veyre (on the border between Lot and Cantal). Throughout the hike, you will find signs highlighting the vernacular architecture of the Ségali region. Although mainly through forest, the walk still offers beautiful panoramic views of Aveyron and Cantal.
Circular Cendrassou in Saint-Cirgues
Explore the hills of Saint-Cirgues on this hike. The trail passes through chestnut groves, crosses the Ruisseau Noir stream and offers views of the Haut-Ségala plateaus. As you walk, you will discover the diversity of the landscapes and the ecological richness of this region.
The Cayla Bridge circular from Cadour
A beautiful hike in the heart of the wild gorges of the Aveyron, following in the footsteps of a distant past, of which the Pont du Cayla is a magnificent reminder. Panoramic views of the Aveyron valley and a walk along the riverbank.
Loop around Belcastel
A tour around the valley of one of the most beautiful villages in France, Belcastel, with several viewpoints over its castle, its old bridge and the village below. You will also pass by the Fort du Roc d'Anglars, and on the way down via the Way of the Cross, you will discover the Lourdou cave with its Virgin Mary.
The Tour de Belcastel via the footbridge
This very short hike is accessible to all and can be done with a pushchair. You will walk along Belcastel to the footbridge and return to the village via a shaded path. Information for December 2025: the footbridge is currently under construction and therefore the hike is inaccessible.
Le Lourdou: Way of the Cross in Belcastel
