Filhols loop
A route for skipping merrily across streams and admiring the scenery from above!
Fed by the Garonne, the Tarn flows gently through the surrounding countryside. This long walk takes you along its banks, with hillsides offering exceptional views and shady valleys with discreet streams.
Due to bad weather, the route along the stream has been badly damaged after the (6) (after crossing the D29). However, it remains accessible if you take care.
Among the vines: heart-shaped serapias
A bucolic walk in the heart of the Fronton AOP. You will go from valley to valley through vineyards and forests. You will enjoy magnificent views of the Girou valley with the Pyrenees as a backdrop and a panoramic view of the Tarn valley from Rabastens to Montauban.
The circuit is marked by 13 scent markers featuring the aromas of Fronton wines. Can you recognise them all?
Panorama around Montjoire
This walk offers beautiful 360° views from the Chemin de Ronde de Montjoire. Explore this town, a stronghold of the Cathar resistance, as you walk through fields and along ridge paths.
The butterfly trail
Along the trail, you will follow rural paths and discover remarkable landscapes, cultivated plains and shady valleys. You will have an unobstructed view of the Girou plain and the hillsides.
You will be accompanied by numerous butterflies, and the diverse wildlife and flora along the trail will brighten up your hike, including a private park populated by deer.
Fields and woods around Cépet
A country walk through the fields and woods around Cépet (31 ). There are a few short stretches on roads open to traffic, but this does not detract from the charm of this walk on the outskirts of Toulouse.
A loop in the woods at Montberon
A few kilometres north of Toulouse, you can enjoy a lovely route through the woods, perfect for jogging, trail running or hiking.
Around Gratentour
A short walk for jogging or hiking. Enjoy a superb panorama of the northern Toulouse countryside and a walk through the oak woods, avoiding traffic as much as possible.
Around Roquesérière
A short, easy hike to stretch your legs or enjoy with the family.
Hillsides north of Rabastens
A pleasant route through the countryside north of Rabastens in the Tarn department. No major difficulties
The route crosses several other routes marked in yellow, so the different markings along the route should only be taken as a relative guide.
With the attached map, it is very easy to follow the route.
Saint-Genies-Bellevue stream circular
The countryside around Saint-Geniès-Bellevue, a few kilometres from Toulouse.
However, it is best to walk during dry weather, as some sections along the stream are very muddy.
A loop trail surrounded by nature on the outskirts of Toulouse: from Launaguet to Montberon
A path for jogging or walking off the beaten track and finding yourself surrounded by nature in the hills north of Toulouse, while remaining very close to the city.
You can admire beautiful panoramic views, including a beautiful view of the city of Toulouse with the Pyrenees in the background, but only on very clear days.
Depending on your physical condition, the route can be adapted in several ways, or divided into several circuits.
Along the Garonne between Gagnac and Seilh
For a country walk along the banks of the Garonne and Aussonnelle rivers. This route is suitable for walking, jogging or mountain biking.
Lake Laragou in Montpitol
A lakeside walk with no major difficulties. Best done in dry weather as the lake's banks are a little muddy.
The Mespel trail extended from Larroque
From Larroque, a pretty village with a beautiful red ochre cliff in the background, we cross Mespel and Puycelsi for a lovely walk through the woods. Along the way, you can see beautiful buildings and local heritage sites.
From Larroque to La Grésigne via Mespel
This is a beautiful route combining countryside, valleys and forests.
Nothing but trails in unspoilt countryside.
There are a few challenging climbs, but they are very rewarding and everyone will appreciate them for what they are.
Larroque and Puycelsi loop
A beautiful hike to discover two picturesque villages in the Tarn: Larroque and Puycelci, a medieval fortress that is also one of the most beautiful villages in France.
From Larroque to Puycelsi via Mespel and La Grésigne
A beautiful route through the countryside, valleys and forests, leading from Larroque to Puycelsi via Mespel and La Grésigne.
Almost entirely on trails, in unspoilt natural surroundings.
Some effort is required on a few climbs, but nothing that a motivated walker can't handle.
From Saint-Martin to Pas del Riou
From Saint-Martin to the picturesque village of Mespel, not forgetting a visit to the Chapel of Notre-Dame des Bois. An easy climb to Pas del Riou. Return via the Gasques forest road and the Beudes stream valley.
Around the Vère river from Saint-Martin d'Urbens
Starting from the hamlet of Saint-Martin d'Urbens, this hike alternates between beautiful passages in the woods and more open sections on the limestone plateau, offering beautiful views of the Vère valley. Two-thirds of this loop trail is off the beaten track and unmarked, making it ideal for hikers who enjoy peace and quiet in unspoilt, wild countryside.
Puycelsi Heritage Trail
From the Conservatory Orchard to the oak groves of La Grésigne, walkers will follow the path the entire way.
The Audoulou stream runs alongside parts of the route, providing welcome refreshment in summer.
Some effort will be required as the route alternates between ascents and descents with very few flat sections.
Bruniquel and Montricoux via Cabéou
A circuit from Bruniquel to Montricoux through the Aveyron valley, which will take you back via the heights overlooking the valley you have just crossed. Beautiful wild trails and a beautiful view of Bruniquel on the opposite side of the river.
