A lovely circular walk along country lanes and through woodland. The walk takes you around Mont Dardon, passing numerous chestnut trees.

Chassy Castle Circular Walk
This circular walk starting from Chassy will allow you to discover the Church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens (11th century), the 15th-century castle, as well as the village communal oven and wash house. Passes by the Étang Noir. The walk follows small tarmac roads and dirt tracks.
Rigny-sur-Arroux circular
This circular route takes you up to the heights of Rigny-sur-Arroux. The route is mainly on paths and through the forest.
Loop via the Canal du Centre and the RCEA from Saint-Vincent-Bragny
Magnificent landscape without too much elevation gain. Very pleasant hike as there is little traffic, even on the roads. Please note: there are no water sources for 35 km. You will need to bring supplies for this long, pleasant route along the water's edge in the forest and along the RCEA. You can stop at a bakery about halfway along the route in Paray-le-Monial.
Short circular from Saint-Maurice via Millay
A circular loop starting from Millay, allowing you to discover the southern Morvan up close with the cows. An easy hike, accessible for the whole family.
Roche Valley Route
This route takes you through various green valleys in the commune of Millay. Along the way, there are numerous views of the neighbouring communes, Mont Beuvray, Haut Follin, the southern part of the Morvan massif, as well as the crossing of the River La Roche.
Beurdin des Bois in Bourbon-Lancy
Set amidst heritage and greenery, from the start of the lakeside route, you’ll enjoy views of the spa district before recharging your batteries in the Forest of Germigny. You’ll then enjoy superb views of the Loire Valley and a panorama of Bourbon-Lancy and its medieval quarter.

Uchon is considered "the pearl of Morvan": a corner of unspoilt nature.
Short Uchon trail
This short circuit, accessible to all, passes by several ponds and most of Uchon's rocky sites. 85% of the route is in the shade. It's a short walk, but you can enjoy a meal beforehand or afterwards at the Auberge de la Croix de Messire Jean (hostel).
Charolais bocage between Bourbince and Arconce
A lovely, peaceful walk through the Charolais countryside. The route has almost no traffic and very little tarmac. You’ll pass through beautiful forests accompanied by birdsong. At the start, you can visit the basilica in Paray-le-Monial; halfway through, why not pop into the riding centre? Note: There are many variations on this walk if you take a map with you.

The Étang de Boiré loop from Saint-Honoré-les-Bains
A rural, hilly hike that alternates between meadows and woodland. Some sections are paved but on low-traffic local roads. The Moulin des Garriaux and its picturesque pond, followed by the Étang Boiré, add to the appeal of this walk. If you love peace and quiet, you will love this hike.
Louvetière discovery circuit
The route proposed here has several objectives, including encouraging walkers to discover short and long-distance hiking trails by following the markings. On this circuit, in addition to the wolf-themed signage specific to the Circuit de la Louvetière, you will also encounter yellow markings that can be found throughout France.
