Saint-Geniès-Bellevue walks

The countryside around Saint-Geniès-Bellevue, a few kilometres from Toulouse. However, it is best to walk during dry weather, as some sections along the stream are very muddy.

Walk between the terminus of line B at Borderouge and Launaguet Town Hall. This route links a recent neighbourhood of Toulouse, built from 2010 onwards, with a 19th-century château that houses the municipal services of the town of Launaguet. After crossing the Rocade Nord, the route passes along paths running alongside the Hers river and residential areas. A bridge leads into Aucamville through a landscaped natural area. The path then takes us to Launaguet, where we can visit the town hall and its park, which offers a remarkable view.

Blagnac (Blanhac in Occitan) is a French commune located in Haute-Garonne in the Occitanie region. The town is known for its airport, its aeronautical museums, its Odyssud theatre, and also for the Blagnacais, its large Ramiervc v park on the banks of the Garonne, where it is nice to meet up with friends and family for a picnic.

This is an easy walk, accessible to all, allowing you to discover Toulouse through its main parks while enjoying beautiful views along the banks of the Garonne.

A walking route connecting Toulouse's must-see monuments, passing by the most beautiful churches, majestic mansions and lively squares, medieval alleyways and museums. This tour of the "Pink City" can be spread over one or more days, depending on the potential visits and stops made.

Walk in semi-urban and natural areas along the south-eastern ring road of Toulouse. Discover the vast Grande Plaine leisure area, then climb up to the unspoilt Limayrac woods. Descend towards the green corridor to walk alongside the Cité de l'Espace. There are many opportunities to sit down, do physical activities or play with the children.

The opening of the Téléo cable car in May 2022 will allow you to make a beautiful circular route along the Garonne and then the Canal du Midi, while providing a view of the city of Toulouse and the Pyrenees. The entire first section, from (1) to (5), is in full sun in the morning. Metro line B, for alternative departures, leaves the landmarks (4) and (8). Please note that the use of the cable car introduces a bias in the Visorando technical data sheet: the elevation gain is very low and the hike is only about 12 km long, taking 2½ to 3 hours on foot.

This walk offers beautiful 360° views from the Chemin de Ronde de Montjoire. Explore this town, a stronghold of the Cathar resistance, as you walk through fields and along ridge paths.

You will enjoy magnificent views of the Girou valley with the Pyrenees as a backdrop and a panoramic view of the Tarn valley from Rabastens to Montauban. The circuit is marked by 13 scent markers featuring the aromas of Fronton wines. Can you recognise them all?

Along the trail, you will follow rural paths and discover remarkable landscapes, cultivated plains and shady valleys. You will have an unobstructed view of the Girou plain and the hillsides. You will be accompanied by numerous butterflies, and the diverse wildlife and flora along the trail will brighten up your hike, including a private park populated by deer.

This very easy urban walk will take you to the 10 remains of the Roman ramparts of Toulouse fromthe 1st and 3rd centuries AD that are still visible today in public spaces. The duration of this walk will depend on how much time you spend observing the sites.

An easy hike on paths on the outskirts of Toulouse with very little tarmac road.

Close to the Pink City, this is an unpretentious hike that allows you to stretch your legs with a little elevation gain and perhaps also discover some corners that are still unknown and yet so close...

Stroll along the left bank of Toulouse and discover the city's new developments on a former industrial site. Green spaces have been created to provide shade and coolness in summer. The route is safe and away from traffic. The walk continues towards the historic district and ends at Saint-Cyprien.

From the village of Bouloc, enjoy a short hike or jog. The walk takes you along country lanes and through woods. You will also pass through the village of Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc to the south of the route.
