Car park at 35 Chemin Cazalbarbier.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow Chemin Cazalbarbier (south) and turn left to climb Chemin de la Côte Blanche, which is tarmac. At the top of the hill, take the dirt track on the left and walk for 200 metres.
(1) Take the path on the right. Admire the magnificent view of Toulouse and its surroundings as you go. The path leads to a dirt track.
(2) Take it on the left. It curves to the left and then joins a crossroads.
(3) Continue straight ahead and, at the bottom of the descent, join Chemin du Poutou.
(4) Follow it straight ahead with a steep climb (the path on the left is the way back). At the top of the hill, the path turns to the right. Join a tarmac road, take it on the left, follow it for one kilometre and go through four right-angle bends.
(5) At the fifth right-angle bend, leave the road and turn left down a dirt track.
(6) After about 200 metres, you will reach the Lenguille stream. Continue straight ahead and, at the end of a short hill, pass a cemetery on your right where there is a water source. Continue straight ahead on the tarmac road that climbs up to the village of Saint-Loup-Cammas.
(7) At the crossroads, turn right onto Chemin Laval. At the top, continue straight ahead onto Chemin du Treil.
Cross the D61A and turn left towards the church. At the first crossroads before the church, turn right towards the town hall. 100 metres further on, you will find a water point and toilets on the right, at the corner of the alley leading to the village hall.
(8) Continue straight ahead, passing between the boules court on your right and the town hall on your left. Continue right onto Route de Castelmaurou (D77).
After 500 metres, at the crossroads, leave this road and turn left down Chemin de Pouzou. At the bottom of the hill, take the dirt track on the left which leads to the water treatment plant. Go around it on the left, then go up the track opposite and join a tarmac road.
(9) Turn right onto the road towards Montberon until you reach the next junction about 400 metres further on.
(10) Take the dirt track that starts on the right and runs alongside Montberon. Pass three streets on the left and you will arrive at a pretty viewpoint over the countryside opposite Rue de Mondouzy.
(11) Turn left onto Rue de Mondouzy, then at the end of the passage, take Chemin de la Marnière to the right. At the end of the road, you will find a wood; take the path on the left that runs alongside it.
(12) At the end of the field, take the path that enters the woods, crosses through them and joins the Chartreuse neighbourhood. Turn right onto Rue de la Chartreuse, which descends, turns left and leads to the exit of the housing estate.
(13) Cross Avenue de Neuville and turn left towards the church. When you reach Route de Bessière (D15), continue left, pass a small shopping centre and arrive at Place de l'Église.
(14) Turn left onto Rue René Landes. At the first roundabout, turn right onto Rue de la Condite, then at the second roundabout, go straight ahead to the end of Rue de la Croix de Fer. Turn right and follow the dirt track that leads to the village of Saint-Loup-Cammas. Before reaching the village, you will come to an intersection that you passed on the way there.
(10) Continue straight ahead on the reverse route of the outward journey.
(9) At the next intersection, leave the route you took on the way there. Continue straight ahead on Chemin Puntous until you reach the roundabout.
(15) After the roundabout, follow Chemin Puntous, which turns right. Cross Route de Pechbonnieu and follow Route de Launaguet opposite.
(16) Take the first left onto Chemin Chaud. Continue straight ahead until you reach the first junction.
(7) Turn right and, following the same route as on the way there, pass in front of the new cemetery. Continue straight ahead on the same dirt track you followed on the way there, until you reach the foot of the hill.
(6) In dry weather!!!, take the path on the right (see Practical Information if the weather is wet). It runs alongside the Carles Stream. After 700 metres, a small bridge allows you to cross the stream.
(17) Turn left to cross the bridge, then go up to the right to enter a small wood. Then follow the stream on your right to the end to rejoin the Chemin du Poutou.
(18) Turn left until you reach the first crossroads, where you will find the path you took on the way there.
(4) Turn right and follow the path back in the opposite direction.
(3) At the crossroads, turn right and continue straight ahead to reach the finish (S/E).
