Park in the car park opposite the church in Montberon.
(S/E) Head towards the schools and take Rue Lucie Aubrac on the left. At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue Jean Moulin and go through the first roundabout. Continue along this road until you reach another roundabout.
(1) Go through the gate, enter the forest road and leave it 20 m further on via a path that descends to the left. At the bottom, take a grassy path on the right that follows a fitness trail and runs alongside the Cendry stream on the left. At the end of the fitness trail, before the water treatment plant, turn left towards a wooden bridge.
(2) Cross it to reach a dirt track. Take it on the right for a few metres to reach a wooden barrier on the left. Go through it and follow the path that runs alongside the Magdelaine stream on the left.
(3) When you reach a picnic area, cross the wooden bridge on your left and continue following the stream, which is now on your right. Cross the Guiraudel stream and continue through the Bois du Moureau. Cross a wooden bridge and the path climbs out of the woods. Turn right and join a housing estate. Take the paved road called Domaine du Bois to the right and join the road to Labastide-Saint-Sernin.
(4) Follow this road to the left for about 100 metres, then take the grassy path on the right which joins a paved path further on. Continue straight ahead on the dirt track which leads to a wood. Turn right and then immediately left onto the path which runs along the edge of the wood.
(5) Enter the woods. Walk a few metres along the edge of the woods on your right until you reach a junction. Turn left onto the path that enters the woods. After passing the first path, 300 m further on, take another path on the right that descends.
(6) When you reach the edge, take the path on the right that climbs gently into the woods. Before you reach a gate, turn left. The path leads to a cemetery where there is a water source.
(7) Go around the cemetery on the left and follow the path which widens and eventually joins the road to Labastide-Saint-Sernin.
(8) Cross it and turn left for a few metres, then, at the corner of the woods on the right, follow the path and enter the woods. Follow the edge of the woods on the left for a while without leaving it to reach the wood path.
(9) Cross it and go through the gate opposite. A beautiful path runs alongside the sports grounds on the left before turning right. It leads to the forest path. Go straight ahead and leave the water treatment plant on your right, below you. Return to the roundabout you passed on the way there.
(1) Follow the forest road and the same route you took on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).
