From Pechbonnieu, to reach the start by car, follow Chemin de Labastidole.
When you reach the roundabout, continue straight ahead and take the “first right”.
100 m further on at the Stop sign, turn left onto Chemin de Castillon; a little further on, on the left, you can park easily.
(S/E) Follow the Chemin de Castillon. After 1 km, you’ll see a beautiful dovecote on the left with a lovely view of Toulouse and, on a clear day, a view of the Pyrenees.
(1) A little further on, the road is no longer tarmac. Continue for about 200 m and turn left onto the dirt track leading to Castelginest; this is Chemin de Daran.
(2) At the junction in the bend, turn right onto the Chemin de Naucou. Follow it to the end.
(3) When the road takes a 90° bend to the left, leave it and turn right onto the small tarmac path; it is still called the Chemin de Naucou. Further on, the path is no longer tarmac. Continue until you reach a large shed.
(4) Cross a tarmac section and, 10 metres further on, turn right onto the dirt track known as the Chemin de Renery, which leads to the top of the hill.
(5) At the Fork in the road, turn right onto Chemin de la Serre. Enter the village of Pechbonnieu. Continue straight on along Chemin de Labastidole.
(6) At the right-hand bend, a sign points to “Complexe sportif”. Continue along the track and, when you reach the Stop sign, turn right to rejoin Chemin de Castillon, where there is a car park (S/E).
