Along the route, a highlight of the religious heritage is the Saint-Germain Chapel, one of the few in the region to have a parish enclosure with a Gothic-style triumphal arch.
Also along the route are a beautiful bread oven and wash house currently being restored, a menhir and the Moulin Neuf, a well-preserved building among the old mills on the Pont-l'Abbé River.

Follow the start of the Goyen valley, which joins the sea after about thirty kilometres, along a few small country roads and paths through the woods.
This river used to power several mills. The route will take you past three of them.
You can also enjoy the peace and quiet of the valley floor.

The route alternates between small country roads and numerous sunken paths in wooded areas.Passes by the Saint-Anne Fountain (1743) and part of the botanical trail near the water catchment protection area.The rest of the route follows various valleys where mills were once located.
At the source of the Goyen
Route in rolling countryside mainly devoted to livestock farming, where the River Goyen has its source. Through wooded areas and along small country roads, this route takes you to two manor houses and a chapel in a rural setting. Its fountain, located at the bottom of a wild valley, is accessed by a staircase of 80 steps.
NB: some sections are tricky since Storm Ciaran.

This route combines two shortPR® routes by linking them together: the Kergonda route, which follows part of the old railway line known as the "Carrot Train", and the Kermorvan route, which winds through the countryside along wide, often stony farm tracks and ends at the Raphalen botanical garden.
The link between these two routes allows you to discover the village of Plonéour-Lanvern, dominated by the imposing bell tower of Saint-Éneour Church (19th century).

The Moulin Neuf lake walk
This is an easy walk around the reservoir, which supplies drinking water to eleven municipalities in the Pont-l'Abbé region. You can enjoy the peaceful, shaded surroundings and take the time to watch the birds that frequent this stretch of water: coots, gulls, grebes and a small colony of swans.
Via the Sainte-Brigitte Chapel and the Bois de Névet

Continue through the Névet valley, which offers beautiful views of the Juch countryside and the Bay of Douarnenez. Finish this circular on the Voie Verte, where information panels tell you about the bocage and wetlands.

From the old Tréméoc railway station, once served by the Transbigouden line, we head to the Moulin Neuf reservoir, which supplies water to around ten towns in the Pont-l’Abbé area.
This is a chance to spot some birds on this 65ha reservoir. This countryside route alternates between small roads and sunken lanes.
The return journey follows the Voie Verte, which, in places, overlooks a wild and silent marshy area.

Following the pebble strip from Plovan to Penhors, you can enjoy views of the entire Bay of Audierne and its coastal lagoons. Return via small roads with the ocean always on the horizon.

The passage near the ruins of Languidou Chapel is always remarkable, not to mention the charm of the small village of Plovan.
South-east of Plomelin via Anse de Combrit
After some lovely stretches through the woods, we follow the Anse de Combrit, one of the Odet’s many coves.
We reach the site of Lestremeur with its pond, fountain, wash house, bread oven and majestic dovecote. We pass the old manor house and follow a small road lined with imposing beech trees.
We’ll walk through the pastures where the horses and ponies from the riding centre graze, before returning to the banks of the Odet.
There is an option to take a detour leading to the Roman baths at Perennou, with a view of the castle.
Towards the banks of the Odet in Plomelin
A pleasant route, mostly wooded, overlooking the banks of the Odet. Pass by the old Rossulien Mill, which has been restored and is located in a beautiful green setting. View of Kerambleiz Castle overlooking the river.
Étang du Corroac'h circuit
After passing the Lestremeur site, with its manor house and dovecote, continue through wooded areas to reach the Étang du Corroac'h. The return journey is via the greenway and then country lanes.

After walking through the countryside and along the Odet, visit the Roman baths at Le Perennou, which were restored in 2011, then return via the Lestremeur site and along Anse de Combrit.
In the Bois du Névet via the Chapelle Saint-Pierre
Starting from the beautiful Saint-Pierre Chapel, this route ventures into the Bois du Névet, a deciduous forest.
The route follows paths along the edge of the forest, a few sections of wide forest lanes and, towards the end, a wilder path above the Manoir du Névet estate.
In summer, you will appreciate the shaded route and in autumn, the colours of the foliage.

Locronan Mountain Route
Let's climb Locronan Mountain, where we will have a view of the Porzay basin and Douarnenez Bay. Along the way, we can admire the Saint-Théleau Chapel and the Kerguénolé Manor and its grounds overlooking the village of Locronan.
Combrit between two coves
This varied route, which is not difficult, starts in the village of Combrit and winds its way along the banks of the Anse de Combrit (which flows into the Odet), those of the Anse du Pouldon (with a view of Île Chevalier at Pont-l’Abbé), small woods and the countryside. Here you will find peace and quiet, a variety of flora and wading birds.
The tour of the Bois de Roscouré from Combrit
From the village of Combrit, whose church in 1675 was the starting point of the Revolt of the Stamped Paper, known as the “Red Caps” revolt, against the new taxes levied by King Louis XIV, follow the wide path along the western edge of the Bois de Roscouré, part of the Conservatoire du littoral. After passing under the Cornouaille bridge, continue a little further to discover the mouth of the Odet.The return journey follows the eastern edge, bordered by the river and its various inlets.
Around the village of Combrit through small woods and along the riverbank
This short 5 km route (which flies by) around the village of Combrit can be completed by keen walkers in under an hour. However, thesecond half of the route encourages you to take your time, thanks to the varied landscape (wooded paths, the banks of Combrit Cove, wash houses, etc.). This route is not difficult and is suitable for both casual walkers and hikers.
