Description of the walk

In Landudec, at the traffic lights on the D784, take the D143 towards Douarnenez. The cemetery is on the right, just after the church.

(S/E) From the car park, walk along the right-hand side of the cemetery and join a grassy path blocked by two large boulders.

(1) At the end, turn right behind the houses, towards the church. Please note: ignore the signpost on the left, as it is for another route. Go around the neo-Gothic church, built in 1904, on the left and turn left towards the D784.

(2) At the traffic lights, cross this road and take Rue Ar Mor opposite, towards Pouldreuzic. Opposite the town hall, turn right into Rue de la Mairie. At the end, turn left towards the roundabout opposite a large supermarket.

Yellow directional signs (yellow markings not always very visible)

(3) Go around the roundabout and follow the path along Rue des Écoles, passing the Albert Ansquer sports hall. Turn left onto a beautiful tree-lined path. Follow this north-west facing path until you reach a road at a place called Ty Jacq (view of the Plozévet wind turbines).

(4) Turn left towards the D784. Facing the road, go around a copse on the left, cross carefully at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight ahead.

(5) At a shed, turn right into a passageway bordering a pasture. Turn left at the road and arrive near the livestock buildings of the Cosquer-Ty Varlen farm on your right.

(6) Turn left onto a shaded sunken lane. Continue straight ahead along this lane between fields and, at the end, turn right towards the entrance to Lanrien farm (private property sign). Leave this road on your right and turn left then right to reach the car park for the botanical trail (information board and picnic area).

(7) Turn right to start the botanical trail. Signs list the different species of trees. Follow this path through the undergrowth to reach the Sainte-Anne Fountain (1743) and its adjoining wash house.

(8) Turn right and follow a small cement canal that crosses the water catchment protection area. Cross it to climb up to the right into the woods and then follow the fence on the left that marks the boundary of the protected area (pumping station below). Walk down along the fence to reach the entrance gate.
On the right, follow the access road to the station and join a road that you follow to the left for about 100 metres.

(9) Turn right towards the Moulin de Ty Varlen, then take the first street on the left which connects to the Ty Varlen industrial estate. When you see the greenhouses of the Établissement et Service d'Aide par le Travail (ESAT on the map), turn right at a wooden shelter into a passageway that winds between houses. Continue down a beautiful descent into the wooded valley (holly) until you reach a stream.

(10) Head up to the right towards the D143 to join it at a picnic area. Cross the road carefully and head towards Keryéré.

(11) Turn left at the crossroads before this hamlet and follow the abandoned road to the access point to Kerandron Gourret.
Turn right towards this old mill, where the path veers right towards the south, running alongside fields and leading to a small road.
NB: This section of the route has been modified and the purple line on the IGN map is inaccurate.

(12) Follow this road to the left for about 800 metres towards the hamlet of Kerhuel (view of the Plogastel-Saint-Germain wind farm).

(13) At the crossroads, turn left at the gable end of a garage (sign). Note the imposing old wash house below the path. Follow this sunken path, which gradually descends towards a small stream and then climbs back up towards the Poullaouen property on the left. Follow the access road to this property for about ten metres.

(14) At the yellow mark on a telephone pole, turn left onto a new sunken path heading northeast.

(15) Just before reaching a road, turn left (note: there is no sign) and follow a path along the edge of the meadows parallel to the road. Ignore two roads on the left. Continue along this small road, taking the occasional gap on the left between the trees, and pass the hamlet of Les Pins on your right. Climb towards the roundabout.

No markings

(16) Just before the roundabout, leave thePR®® fork to the left, cross the D784 carefully at the protected crossing and take the lane opposite, passing by the gable of a bakery and biscuit factory.

(1) At the grassy path blocked by two stone blocks, rejoin the outward route which runs alongside the cemetery and leads to the car park (S/E).

A very beautiful route, but unfortunately covered in incredible mud with flooded paths and uprooted trees forcing us to bypass the official route.
Rich in heritage, a real pleasure otherwise.

The crosses do not prohibit passage; they simply indicate that we are not going in the right direction. It is not mandatory to follow the new signage; there are no prohibition signs. For now—to be continued...

The route is changed once you cross the D143 at No. 6. Turn left onto a deserted road that runs alongside the D143 and take the road on the right that leads to Kerandraon Gouret, which bypasses Keryéré.
There are a number of crosses preventing us from taking the access road that passes below the house.
The route has been re-marked.

Hello,

There's no problem with this section, as I've partly followed a PR-marked route.
The path indicated runs well below the property and does not encroach on it in any way.
I have walked it at least three times without any problems.

Kind regards.

Hello
This is at the 7th point:
(7) Turn left, below a large house, and follow the sunken path overlooking the valley where the stream flows from the leat of Kerandron Gourret.
I am simply pointing this out because on another route near Concarneau, we crossed a campsite as indicated on the route and the owner gave us a rude reception, saying that it was private property.

The route already exists and is marked. The markings are in the opposite direction to those on your website. Please note that at one point along the route, we found several crosses in the same place. I think the owners do not want people to walk across their land.
