Parking at Moulin de Saint-Alouarn.
(S/E) From the car park, take the road between the pond and the mill, turn right and follow this road which joins the D63 just before Toull Trink. Continue to Ty Planche where the greenway begins.
(1) Go up the old Quimper - Douarnenez railway line and continue straight on for about 5 km to Plaisance, passing the Moulin de Saint-Alouarn starting point. At each small road crossing, you will encounter a barrier.
(2) Cross the D56 at Plaisance and continue on the same greenway for about 4.5 km.
(3) Leave the old railway line and take the road that climbs to the left towards Le Juch. Cross a bridge and start climbing to reach the village. At the entrance, follow the small street on the right which leads to the imposing Notre-Dame Church. Turn right and go downhill to rejoin the greenway near the old station (wash house on the left).
(4) Turn left onto this greenway, which will take you to the entrance to Douarnenez after about 5.5 km, passing below the Lannugat industrial estate (smell of fish canneries).
Take care when crossing the D57 and then the D7.
(5) Cross the street (petrol station and large roundabout on the left), continue along the greenway called Promenade Édouard Paulet, which runs along the bottom of the lagoon and then climbs up to a street. Follow this street to a roundabout near the functional rehabilitation centre.
(6) Turn right to cross the Grand Pont (stunning view of Port Rhu). At the roundabout, turn left onto Rue Duguay Trouin, pass a car park on your left and continue straight ahead.
(7) At the crossroads opposite a small triangular square with a statue of Bolomig, keep right to go down the cobbled Rue Anatole France, which leads to the sea. Follow Quai du Rosmeur (the old port of Douarnenez), leaving the port buildings on your right and going around the fuel depot to reach the corniche.
(8) Continue along this road by the sea (view of Tristan Island and Tréboul), walk along Port Rhu (floating boat museum) and join Rue Louis Pasteur to return to the greenway.
(5) Take this greenway on the left and retrace your steps without going through Le Juch, covering approximately 24 km to return to the car park at Moulin de Saint-Alouarn (S/E).
