(S/E) From the car park, head towards the main street, Rue Saint-Thélau. Turn right towards Saint-Albin, cross the bridge over the D63.
(1) At the end of the bridge, take a discreet path on the left overlooking the departmental road. Continue straight ahead along the edge of the field, then turn right to reach the Fontaine Saint-Thurien, named after the church in Plogonnec. Follow the stream upstream to reach a well-restored wash house.
(2) At the road, turn left to reach a place called Maner Beuliec. Just before the sign indicating "private property", look for a small blue arrow on the right that indicates the passage allowing you to go around the buildings and continue on the road.

This is a pleasant spot for a short break while you explore the building and learn about its history.
(5) Go around the chapel on the left and follow a small path that climbs through the woods. This is the steepest part. Continue until you reach the top of a road. You will see a large pylon as a landmark.
(6) Turn left to reach the Ar Sonj Chapel on your right (annual stop on the Troménie procession (1)). From here, you can enjoy a view of Douarnenez Bay.
Leaving the enclosure, begin the descent on the right. Leave the road on your right that goes directly down to Locronan. Continue towards Coat Beuliec and its small calvary.

(7) Turn right onto a path that makes a wide circular loop. Pass the first path that descends to the campsite and, when you reach another path, turn right (fallen tree) and continue downhill. You will be overlooking the Locronan campsite.
(8) When you reach a road, turn left to enter the grounds of the Manoir de Kerguénolé, where you will have a breathtaking view of Locronan. Cross this communal property and, at the exit, take the small road on the left that goes uphill.
(9) Turn onto the first gravel path on the right that descends towards the D63; ignore the other paths on the right.
No signposts
At the road, cross it carefully and follow it to the right for a few dozen metres before taking the first path on the left.
(10) Turn left again and follow the wide path that winds between fields to reach a road at Pennévet. Continue along this road to the left, then turn right towards Keravec.
(11) At Kervec, at the crossroads, follow the road to the left which leads to the village of Plogonnec. You will soon see the bell tower. Cross a housing estate and continue along Rue des Fleurs, which continues along a path through a small park.
At the street opposite the church, turn right, pass the media library (a beautiful renovated building) and cross the church grounds. As you do so, admire the carved door of the south porch. You will find the car park on your right (S/E).
