GR®38markings from Pen ar Voëz;
Mountain bike signs before Parkou Menez
Departure: Place de la Poste in Plogonnec. Place du 19 Mars 1962.
(S/E) Turn right onto Rue de Pont Peronnic, leave the road that joins the D63 on your left and turn right onto Rue du Stade, then take the first left around an industrial estate. At the intersection, turn left towards the roundabout near the Super U supermarket.
(1) Cross over and head towards Kerantous then Kerganape.
(2) At the sign for Moulin de Kerganape, turn left. After crossing the stream, continue along the path that climbs to the right and joins the road. Follow this road to the left.
(3) At the sign for Créac'h Bellec, turn left and, at the farm, turn right to follow the dirt track down to the Bonnescat mill.
(4) After going around the mill, follow the road to the left towards Plogonnec, Saint-Albin (Bonnescat mill road) until you reach Pen ar Voëz, where you turn left towards Quillien.
(5) You will reach theGR®38. Follow this wide path to Lezmel, where you can admire the horse pastures and, of course, their occupants.
(6) Cross the road and follow theGR®38trail opposite, which climbs slightly and leads to a small road. Follow this road up to the right.
(7) Leave the direction of Chapelle Saint-Thélau on your right and follow the mountain bike trail on the left towards Parkou Ménez on the left. Continue along this wide path which descends to Stang Beuliec.
(8) Turn right to pass Maner Beuliec on the left. A new passage has been created at this point, making the old mountain bike route inaccurate. Pass a wash house on the right (fountain indicated by going up the stream) and reach the Saint-Albin road. Follow it to the left for a few metres.
(9) At the Keramel housing estate, follow the mountain bike signs on the right to cross the estate and then rejoin the road leading into Plogonnec. After crossing the bridge, turn left into a car park and then right between the cypress trees to return to the starting point.
