Walk... on iron from the start at Vaublanc
Set off to explore the surroundings of the Forges du Vaublanc, which was an important iron foundry fromthe 17th tothe 19th century. The ore came from the region. The route follows the Lié, which provided hydraulic power to the factory, then crosses the Loudéac forest where dozens of charcoal burners produced the charcoal needed to fuel the blast furnaces.
La Roche au Cerf circular starting from Langast
A circular route, mainly on footpaths and sunken lanes, takes you from the village of Langast, with its very old church, to the thousand-year-old site of the Roche au Cerf ford and along streams and then the Lié valley.
Hilvern stream from Saint-Caradec
This hike will take you through the Rigole d'Hilvern on good paths.
In the Middle Ages, according to legend, Saint-Caradec belonged to the Viscounty of Rohan.
A smallpox epidemic occurred between 1865 and 1870, claiming 45 lives. Then, in 1902, a typhoid fever epidemic broke out in the region.
Discover Moncontour and its surroundings
This circular route allows you to discover the small medieval town by strolling through its narrow streets, then walking along the leat and through sunken paths to the Notre-Dame-du-Haut Chapel. The last part of the walk offers beautiful views of the town and its ramparts.

This circular route through the countryside and woods takes in three of them: Château Bellevue, Château des Granges and Manoir du Vauclair. Short heritage trail in Josselin
Take a stroll to discover what makes Josselin such a historic place. As you wander through the town's narrow cobbled streets, you can admire the many half-timbered houses, the oldest dating back to 1538, the churches and the castle (entrance fee). A very pleasant walk.
Along the Oust, from the Château de Josselin to the Chapelle Saint-Gobrien
Dominated by the tall silhouette of the Château de Josselin, the River Oust is one of the sections of the Nantes-Brest Canal. This walk follows the shaded course of the river and leads to the charming Chapelle Saint-Gobrien.
The Étang au Duc tour near Ploërmel
This pond tour is not difficult: the total elevation gain is less than 25 metres. Although the start may be a little tedious with its 4.2 kilometres on a greenway, the return trip is more than pleasant along theGR®37, which runs alongside the pond and offers magnificent views in several places with a host of marsh birds.
Tour of the lake at Jugon-les-Lacs
The route follows the shady banks of the lake, small gravel roads and a few quiet stretches of road.
It will take you through villages with old houses, many of which have been beautifully restored.
To finish your walk, you can explore the streets and alleys of the village along the river, where the wash houses have been restored.
