The ‘Prom’nous’ trail in Collinée

Start from the car park at the Baillot lake.

(S/E) Keep the lake on your right (with the wash house on the opposite bank). The path turns right and then becomes a tarmac road. Walk through a housing estate, ignoring all the side streets on the left, and head up Rue du Doué Chanu.

(1) At the end, turn right into Rue de France. At the junction, cross Rue Simon d’Estienne, follow it to the right and immediately take the^first left, Rue Neuve. Walk past the cemetery. Pass to the left of Saint-Guillaume Church and continue straight on, ignoring the side streets on the right. Pass the sign marking the end of the built-up area of Collinée.

(2) Take the first path on the right. You’ll come out onto a road; follow it to the left. At the junction, turn right onto Rue André Gilles. Turn left and continue along the road until you reach the junction with Rue André Gilles. After about 200 metres, turn right and walk alongside the sports hall car park to reach the football pitch. Walk round the football pitch on the left. Cross the lawns on the left to reach the school.

(3) Walk past the school’s main entrance and take the path opposite (north). Continue along Rue de la Nouette, skirting the Bellevue residential complex. Then turn right onto Rue de Penthièvre. At the end, turn left. At the three-way junction, veer to the right and continue along a footpath. Shortly afterwards, turn left and head towards the village centre.

Then turn left into Rue Saint-Guillaume. At the junction, turn right and walk past the Collinée local council offices (Maison Ruello, dating from 1756). Continue up the street and, at the junction, turn left and head downhill along Rue du Baillot.

(4) After about a hundred metres, turn left to cross the media library car park. At the end, make a circular loop to the right. Then turn left into Impasse Paul Sébillot. When the street bends sharply to the left, cross the car park opposite to continue along a path. Turn right and head towards Rue des Musiciens.

(5) Walk between the cultural centre and the veterinary clinic. Take a path under the trees. This path turns to the right, passing below the cultural centre. Cross the road to return to the lake (S/E).
