The Perfaux Route in Saint-Vran

(S/E) From the church square, take the road on the right towards Langourla, which runs down past the primary school; then, just after the school, head through the Jardin du Guédou with its small amphitheatre.

(1) Cross the garden via the paths on the right and follow a path through the woodland until you reach a junction.

(2) Turn right, then follow the D59 to the left, passing La Gilardais.

(3) Turn left onto the dirt track that descends towards the valley. Cross the small stream and turn right, following the embankment.

(4) Take the road on the right (alternative route in practical information). Pass through the hamlet of La Ville ès Meuniers and continue to La Quéhandière.

(5) Turn left onto the dirt track. Walk past the granite boulders and continue to the viewpoint overlooking the castle.

(6) Continue along the path to the left, then turn right at La Ville ès Gautier. At the bottom of the castle grounds (private), head up the road to the left to go round it and reach La Pépinaie.

(7) Continue straight on past the henhouse. Descend through the woodland then climb back up (alternative route in practical information).

(8) At Le Brigneul, follow the road to the left then turn right towards Le Perfaux.

(9) Continue straight on through the hamlet (alternative route in the practical information section). Pass the other two menhirs and enter the hamlet of La Dairy Farm.

(10) Cross the hamlet, then that of Bodeuc, and take an old road on the right which runs alongside the main road (alternative route in practical information). At the end of the road, walk along the field beside the main road.

(11) Take the road straight ahead to the left, then turn right onto the dirt track, right again, then left until you reach Ville Auffray . Head down the road to the right.

(12) At the bridge, follow the path to the right, cross the stream then continue to the right through the woodland. Pass under the power line, go up the forest track to the left and continue to the right. At the pumping station, turn left then right.

(13) Follow the old road to the left. Cross the hamlet of La Croix Quartier. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead.
Walk alongside the D6 behind the safety barrier and continue along the grassy verge.

(14) Turn left at Bas Camoy then turn right between the shed and the house onto the path.
Turn right into the woods.

(2) Turn right, follow the same path as on the way there but this time taking the garden on the right. Take the road on the right at the school and head to the car park (S/E).

(4) Possible alternative before the bridge over the stream: take the path running along the edge of the field on the left to reach (12).

(8) Off the route: head down to the right along the dirt track and, at the bottom of the track, turn left and enter the undergrowth on the right. The rock formations are located there on the Rance.

(9) Off the route: on the right,^{the first of a} group of three menhirs.

Between (10) and (11), off the route: cross the D6 to the right to reach the Chapelle Saint-Lin.
