Moreuil walks
Along the banks of the River Avre at Moreuil and the ponds at Thennes
There are two rivers called the Avre. One is a tributary of the River Eure, the other is a tributary of the River Somme. This walk follows the second of these two rivers. The route offers the pleasure of walking alongside the River Avre at Moreuil. Indeed, the community of communes maintains the towpath. It also allows you to walk around the fishing ponds at Thennes and admire the rural landscape surrounding these bodies of water.

Circular Davenescourt route via Warsy and Saulchoy
This walk follows theGR® 123 from Davenescourt to Warsy. You’ll then follow part of the Avre valley. You’ll pass by Warsy Castle. In this village, you’ll leave theGR® to climb back up onto the Santerre plateau to the pretty hamlet of Saulchoy-sur-Davenescourt. Crossing the Bois Morière takes you to the D160 at the monument erected in honour of Commander de Banville. The picturesque descent towards Davenescourt brings you to the impressive 18th-century château before completing the circular route.

A circular route from Guerbigny to Marquivillers
The Santerre plateau is a flat area of deep loam. Small rivers have carved their way through it, creating some very picturesque areas to explore. This walk takes you through one such area. The walk is unmarked. However, you do follow a marked section ofthe GR® 123 at the end of the circular walk.
More than half the route follows paths through woodland.
