Grand tour of the Lauragais hillsides from Castanet
A pleasant circular starting from the centre of Castanet-Tolosan, which partly follows the GR®653, the route from Arles to Compostela, and allows you to discover the peace and nature of the Lauragais hills. In good weather, the view of the Pyrenees from the Rebigue orientation table is magnificent. Beautiful views of the countryside and Toulouse at the end of the route.There is little tarmac outside the urban area at the start and finish.There is a variant (7) which shortens the hike by 3 km (10.5 km, 3 hours): see description in the Practical Information section
Circular Rebigue via Castanet-Tolosan
On the paths maintained by the Sicoval d'agglomération du Sud-Est toulousain, you will discover the orientation table for Rebigue, Castanet-Tolosan and the Toulouse hillsides.
Circular Fount Grando in Rebigue
Crossed by the famous Way of St James, the village of Rebigue offers walkers the chance to discover, among other things, the Fount Grando fountain, the church dedicated to Saint Lizier and the orientation table with a magnificent panorama of the Pyrenees on a clear day.
Barèges dovecote circular
Between hills and valleys, this hike around Espanès offers beautiful views of the village of Montbrun-Lauragais and the Pyrenees on a clear day. Along the way, visitors can also discover the barns and dovecotes that are characteristic of the region's heritage.
A challenging circuit on the outskirts of Toulouse.
Just outside Toulouse, this is a short, invigorating circuit. There is a bit of tarmac when crossing Castanet (1.3 km), but the rest is made up of paths and beautiful trails. The countryside is just a few kilometres from Toulouse. Avoid this circuit after heavy rain as some sections will be difficult to navigate.
Around Issus through the ages
This walk will take you past the stately castle of Issus, then up the hillsides where you can admire the Lauragais countryside with an exceptional view of the Pyrenees. The route ends with a leap into modernity with the satellite dishes of a Telecom station.

From the Gallic oppidum, and all along the cliff-top path on the heights of Pech David, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Garonne River flowing through the Toulouse plain.
