Park in the centre of Baziège, Allée Paul Marty.
(S/E) Walk along the esplanade of Allée Paul Marty. After the large cooperative building, turn left. Continue to the junction with Grand Rue.
(1) Cross and continue straight ahead, following the red and white markings ofthe GR® 653, Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. You will see a Lauragais barn on your left. Go under the SNCF bridge. Continue to the Labastide road and cross it. Climb up the hill opposite via the Chemin de la Côte Vieille, continue along the Chemin de Côte de Montserre to reach the top of the hill.
Turn right onto the gravel path to reach a fork.
(2) Turn left downhill, following the fence of a private animal park. Also follow the Ruisseau de Visenc stream. You will reach a small bridge giving access to the hamlet of Cammas.
(3) Continue straight ahead on theGR® to reach a new bridge.
(4) Cross the stream via the bridge on the right. Continue straight ahead until you reach the Sainte-Colombe Chapel. Stay on theGR® trail, following the red and white markings. Pass in front of the oratory, then turn left onto the slightly uphill tarmac road. At the next crossroads, turn right onto the grassy path and descend to the bottom of the valley. At the intersection of paths, near the poplar trees, cross the stream and climb the hill to the calvary on the edge of the D11d road.
(5) Leave the red and whiteGR® markings here and take the yellowPR® markings. Cross the road and continue straight ahead. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead, leaving the hamlets of En Roussaud and Le Bosc on your right and left. You will then come to a right-angled crossroads. Continue straight ahead.
(6) Turn right towards the hamlet of Limoges, keeping to the yellow markings. Pass through the hamlet of En Delord and then rejoin the D11d. Turn left and follow it to the dangerous crossroads with the D38e road and Chemin de Monteserre.
(7) Stay on the yellow markings and turn right onto Chemin de Monteserre. Begin another climb to reach the top of the hill and the crossroads with the mill you passed on the way up. Enjoy the view of the Aéropostale lighthouse opposite.
(2) From here, retrace your steps to return to the car park in the centre of Baziège, Allée Paul Marty (S/E).
