Park near Labège Town Hall.
(S/E) Opposite the town hall, take the path into the municipal park (on the right, you will see a mansion). At the road, turn left and follow the cycle path. Go under the SNCF bridge and continue straight ahead.
(1) At the crossroads, cross and immediately turn left. After about 100 metres, take the tarmac road on the right, Chemin de la Payssière, until you reach the road. Turn left onto the cycle path, cross the stream, then immediately cross the road to take the path that enters the woods (on the left, Fontaine du Laurier). Follow it to a crossroads.
(2) Turn right onto the path that goes downhill. Walk along the field to enter the woods and continue to the Fontaine Saint-Sernin fountain. Continue along the path beside the stream until you reach a crossroads.
(3) Turn right, cross the stream (on the right, old drinking trough) and go up to the cycle path. Turn left. Just after the sign marking the entrance to the town of Escalquens, turn left into the woods and follow the path. Then take the grassy path along the stream to re-enter the woods. Continue straight ahead until you reach the edge of the woods and the cycle path.
(4) Turn left. Pass the swimming pool and the school. The path turns left to join the D2 (at the crossroads, view of the Château d'Auzielle). Continue on the pavement along the plane trees until you reach a fork after a fence.
(5) Turn left onto the gravel path. Follow it and enter the woods. At the intersection, take the path opposite to the steps. Go down them and turn right, then continue straight ahead on the path (panoramic view of the Hers valley).
(6) When you reach the houses, turn left onto the dirt track that goes downhill. Return to the crossroads you passed on the way out.
(2) Turn right onto the path you took on the way there to return to the car park near Labège Town Hall (S/E).
