A loop in the woods at Montberon
A few kilometres north of Toulouse, you can enjoy a lovely route through the woods, perfect for jogging, trail running or hiking.
Saint-Genies-Bellevue stream circular
The countryside around Saint-Geniès-Bellevue, a few kilometres from Toulouse.
However, it is best to walk during dry weather, as some sections along the stream are very muddy.
In the woods at the start of Gratentour
This route is an extended 10 km version of the route proposed under the title "Around Gratentour" by EJP, from which much of the description has been borrowed.

Depending on your physical condition, the route can be adapted in several ways, or divided into several circuits.
The two bell towers walk
Cépet and Gargas are small, quiet villages that have retained all their authenticity, beauty and rural character despite the demographic development of the area.A visit to these villages will transport you to a peaceful atmosphere. A bucolic walk through the fields will also allow you to breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy the rural flora and fauna, which are sure to delight you.

Panorama around Montjoire
This walk offers beautiful 360° views from the Chemin de Ronde de Montjoire. Explore this town, a stronghold of the Cathar resistance, as you walk through fields and along ridge paths.
The butterfly trail
Along the trail, you will follow rural paths and discover remarkable landscapes, cultivated plains and shady valleys. You will have an unobstructed view of the Girou plain and the hillsides.
You will be accompanied by numerous butterflies, and the diverse wildlife and flora along the trail will brighten up your hike, including a private park populated by deer.

An urban hike on the outskirts of Toulouse, offering more than 50% green spaces and small woods. An easy hike, but sometimes on muddy ground near the river and lake.

From Borderouge to Launaguet Town Hall
Walk between the terminus of line B at Borderouge and Launaguet Town Hall. This route links a recent neighbourhood of Toulouse, built from 2010 onwards, with a 19th-century château that houses the municipal services of the town of Launaguet. After crossing the Rocade Nord, the route passes along paths running alongside the Hers river and residential areas. A bridge leads into Aucamville through a landscaped natural area. The path then takes us to Launaguet, where we can visit the town hall and its park, which offers a remarkable view.
The Canal Latéral à la Garonne between Gagnac and Fenouillet
A country walk takes you to the towpath of the canal alongside the Garonne, then along the edge of Lac du Bocage. On the farm track, you will see an old dovecote, unfortunately in poor condition. At the edge of the canal, you may encounter ducks and, in fine weather, pleasure boats. Along Lac du Bocage, you may meet fishermen and sometimes rowing races.

The village of Bouloc is located north of Toulouse. For a walk or a jog in the Bouloc countryside, this route passes along the edge of fields, halfway up the hillside and through a few woods.

Boulocaine walk
A short, brisk walk in the heart of the village of Bouloc. You will pass through remarkable woodland before climbing the Chemin de la Groule towards the sports complex, which includes a fitness trail through the forest.
The Buzet Forest
The Buzet Forest is very pleasant and reserved for walking, horse riding and mountain biking.
Very busy at weekends, it is protected from hunters and offers numerous well-marked trails where it is difficult to get lost. We followed the footpath on the way there and the bridle paths on the way back. The biodiversity centre offers a fun stop for young and old alike.

This is a varied route where country lanes will take you to the heart of the Buzet forest, which you will have plenty of time to explore. Don't miss a visit to the biodiversity centre to learn all about this sensitive natural area.

Circular Blagnac
Blagnac (Blanhac in Occitan) is a French commune located in Haute-Garonne in the Occitanie region.
The town is known for its airport, its aeronautical museums, its Odyssud theatre, and also for the Blagnacais, its large Ramiervc v park on the banks of the Garonne, where it is nice to meet up with friends and family for a picnic.
Magdelaine-sur-Tarn lake circular route
A key route through the fields that combines nature and heritage and allows you to join the Greenway to continue your exploration. An easy walk that ends at the edge of a small lake where you can relax. This circular loop takes you along mostly paved paths, keeping you dry in wet weather. Bring a hat on sunny days!
The Garonne and Ginestous plain on the outskirts of Toulouse
This short hike offers a burst of greenery along the banks of the Garonne and vast expanses of grain fields. You are in the countryside for most of the way, while still being on the outskirts of the Toulouse metropolitan area.
From the Tarn to the Mill
A pleasant hike which, after a short climb up the hillside, will take you to a place called Le Moulin, a vanished legacy of the pastry-making tradition. You can imagine the fields of yesteryear and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside before returning to the riverbank.
Chemin de Jeanine in Lavalette
A pleasant walking route starting from the village of Lavalette. In 2019, this pretty little village was awarded first prize in the Haute-Garonne competition for villages with fewer than 1,000 inhabitants.
