A loop with varied landscapes alternating between paths, tracks and trails. This route is designed to be educational, with each kilometre punctuated by a message about respect, difference, tolerance and secularism, making it an educational trail to share with children. Chemin des Coteaux de Bellegarde in Masseube
A beautiful hike through the hills of the Gers with stunning panoramic views of the Pyrenees. A circular route between light and shade, alternating between paths, trails and small roads. A circular route that can be enjoyed in all seasons, but is at its most charming in spring or autumn.
The trail from Besmaux to Pavie
The path you are about to take linked the bastide of Pavie to the hamlet of Besmaux, which was only a modest seigneury until François de Monlezun, like other Gascons, left to seek his fortune in Paris.

Large loop of Faget-Abbatial
At the start, you can admire the Cistercian church of Saint-Sauveur and, higher up, the abbey house (private property). The rest of the walk is a classic country hike where you will discover the hillsides of the Gers, the Lauze valley, the unmissable duck farm and, if you are lucky, three little donkeys will come to say hello. This route is very well signposted (yellow).
Lake Puydarrieux
Short walk around Lake Puydarieux. Bird sanctuary with access to huts.
Route almost entirely marked with yellow signs to be followed in an anti-clockwise direction. Sometimes the markings are difficult to see, damaged or missing. A few paths are difficult to see.
In the footsteps of d'Artagnan in Lupiac
Between the Douze and Auzoue valleys, the village of Lupiac, perched on a hill, is crossed by the Chemin de César, an ancient Roman road also known as the Ténarèze. A fortified village, Lupiac belonged until 1792 to the Batz family, known for the most famous of the Gascons: d'Artagnan.
The Château de Montaut-lès-Crénaux circular
Starting from the Château de Montaut-lès-Créneaux, which overlooks the Aulouste valley, take theGR® de Pays Coeur de Gascogne to reach the Château de Malartic (private) in the Arçon valley. Set in lush green surroundings, the cemetery and small chapel of the château form a beautiful architectural ensemble. You return to the village via a small road passing in front of the Lassale Chapel (private).
