This hike offers beautiful views of the Pyrenees and Lauragais and allows you to enjoy the tranquillity of the canal while admiring its engineering structures, such as the small port of Gardouch, the Aqueduct des Voûtes which spans the River Hers, and the Renneville Lock.

A spectacular and iconic 48.2 km online route through the Lauragais region, the "Collines du Vent" (Windy Hills) connect Avignonet-Lauragais and Fanjeaux. Numerous windmills are dotted across these first hills of the Piège, taking advantage of the generous winds that blow alternately from the Mediterranean (the autan or marin) and the Atlantic (the cers). The view stretches far beyond the hills to the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire. Eleven information panels provide details about the local heritage. From the Gardouch lock and the Canal du Midi, a pleasant and easy walk in good weather.

This circuit winds its way through the gently rolling hills of the Lauragais, with views of the plain, the Montagne Noire and, on a clear day, the entire Pyrenees mountain range, from Canigou to the Pic du Midi.

A very pretty little circuit, without any difficulty, offering superb views of the Lac de la Ganguise, the hillsides and the Pyrenees. There is very little tarmac, with most of the route following wide, clean paths. The starting point offers a chance to discover the magnificent little castle of Belflou.

This walk, which is flat and easy, takes you around the bastide town of Revéloise and allows you to discover some historical sites. The starting point is right next to the municipal swimming pool.

Section of the "sentier des sommets" trail, cut off from the link with Revel, reducing the total distance to 14 km. No technical difficulties, with beautiful views of the Lauragais. The route ends with a shaded walk around the lake, where you can swim in season.

part2 of the "Les Collines du Vent" route:The exceptional views amply reward the effort of climbing the pechs (hills in Occitan). The Collines du Vent route then takes on its full spectacular dimension: the pechs are swept by winds blowing alternately from the Mediterranean (the autan or marin) and the Atlantic (cers). There are few trees on the hills, which also means that there is little shade in summer, so the sun beats down hard on the hills. Between Lavaur and Puylaurens, this circular route allows you to discover part of the Roman road, the hills of the "Pays de Cocagne" (Land of Plenty), the land of pastel, and the Château de Magrin.

This hike has a few hills and is pleasant in all seasons, but should be avoided after heavy rain as the paths may be muddy. You will discover the charming hills surrounding the hamlet of Appelle, overlooked by Puylaurens. Several sections are on roads, but these are very small roads with very little traffic and beautiful views.

Starting from the village centre, this beautiful loop takes you north of the village through a varied landscape of hills to the hamlet of Ardialle and through Saint-Jean before climbing back up to Puylaurens. Can be done on foot or by mountain bike. Yellow markings.

Hike not possible due to work on the lake dam (August 2024). A refreshing hike around Lac de La Balerne, with no major difficulties.

Close to the Pink City, this is an unpretentious hike that allows you to stretch your legs with a little elevation gain and perhaps also discover some corners that are still unknown and yet so close...

A circular route starting from Calmont on the hillsides with a return along the banks of the Hers. On the ridge overlooking the Hers valley, and in good weather, there is a beautiful view of the Pyrenean foothills. During the hike, there is a beautiful view of the Calmont castle.

An easy hike on paths on the outskirts of Toulouse with very little tarmac road.

A short, gentle walk in the countryside and along the banks of the Girou, suitable for all.
