(S/E) Head to the right side of the church, towards the cemetery, which you will go around on the right, taking a path that descends and leads to the lake.
(1) Take the path on the left that runs alongside and around the lake. At the end of the lake, take the small bridge over the stream feeding the reservoir and return to the other bank. Continue to the dyke.
(2) Leave the dyke on your right and continue straight ahead on the tarmac road. Ignore the first path on the left (Chemin Jacques Barreau) and take the second one, still on the left, about 400 m from the dyke (Chemin de la Guinette). Follow it uphill for just under 900 m.
(3) Before reaching the Fontvieille silos, at an elevation of 245 metres, turn right onto the grassy path that descends to run alongside the Ruisseau de Dax stream. After 900 metres, turn left onto the path that climbs towards Dax. At the first houses, turn right and follow the main street until you reach the tarmac road on the left, which will take you to the D72c 150 m further on. Turn left and continue along this road for 400 m.
(4) Take the first path that climbs steeply to the right and leads to the ridge path at an altitude of 267 metres. Leave the Tour du Télégraphe on your left and take this path to the right (view of the Pyrenees): it descends and joins the D622 (Revel road) 1 km further on.
Caution: this isa very busy road and dangerous for pedestrians. You must cross it and walk along the left-hand side for about 150 m.
(5) Take the wide stony path on the right, follow it for just over 500 m and, at Guilhau, at an elevation of 204 m, turn onto the other path on the right towards Villote, continuing for 1.2 km and passing under a power line.
(6) At the crossroads, at an elevation of 204 metres, turn left towards La Bosque. At this location, leave the tarmac road that leads to the house and continue to the right at the hangar, along the grassy path.
(7) After 500 m, turn left (the path can be muddy in places) and follow the path, which becomes a tarmac road after 600 m, before joining the D25f.
(8) Turn right onto the D25f to return to Vallègue, crossing the Vignasse. Carefully cross the D622 again and continue straight ahead. At the T-junction, turn left, then right to return to the starting point (S/E).
