Park in the upper part of the village of Toutens, in the car park near the war memorial and the town hall, which overlooks the boules court.
(S/E) Walk down the main street heading north-west.
Be careful when crossing the D25 in the middle of the village, as visibility is limited and there is heavy traffic. Continue straight on the castle path and continue at the village exit on the slightly downhill tarmac road. Pass the hamlets of Borde Neuve and Borde Grande. Then continue on the dirt road to reach the D79c crossroads.
(1) Turn right onto this slightly uphill road and continue to the Impasse Lacanal crossroads.
(2) Turn right and follow this path, which descends then climbs back up through the woods, winding its way. Follow the long straight line along the ridge. Leave the path to Ségreville on your left and continue to the D25 crossroads.
(3) Cross it carefully as visibility is also limited here, and continue opposite on Chemin de Pistouillé. Cross a housing estate (mill without a wing on the right). Shortly after the end of the housing estate, continue along the grassy path on the ridge. You will come to a sign marked "déviation" (detour), which invites you to turn right onto a path that splits into two parallel tracks (preferably stay on the upper one).
You will reach a wider path.
(4) Turn left and you will soon come to another crossroads.
(5) Take the path on the left, at the next bend turn left onto the D54b and you will reach the town hall and cemetery of Beauville. Then turn 90° to the right to reach the hamlet of La Tour and its clearly visible water tower.
(6) Turn right onto the Route de La Tour, leave it as soon as it turns left and continue along the Impasse du Pastel path towards Lascottes. You will soon come to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(5) Retrace your steps to reach the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(4) Continue straight ahead, leaving the path to the Escarguel farm on your right. Walk alongside the houses in Le Serre. Continue straight ahead until you reach the Toutens car park (S/E).
