Dent de Cons circular
Ascent of the Dent de Cons, the easternmost peak of the Bauges, offering beautiful views of the Bauges, the Bornes, the Beaufortain, Mont Blanc... The route describes a circular loop starting from Marthod, which runs partly on very steep grassy slopes and on a sometimes exposed ridge.

Whether you do it alone or with your family, this hike will allow you to discover how people lived around 60 years ago. It is a pleasant walk through a hundred hectares of forest and small plains. Along the way, you will find barns furnished with tools from the period and numerous photos.
A very interesting route that will take you back to your starting point, where a guest book awaits you.
From Albertville station to the Refuge du Soplat des Streams
A lovely climb starting from Albertville, passing through the medieval town of Conflans and pretty mountain hamlets with views of the Tarentaise Valley, before reaching the Refuge du Soplat des Stream. The refuge is ideally located near the Tour du Beaufortain with a beautiful view of Albertville and the Olympic Park. Hike to be done from May to November: avalanche risk in winter above 1,100 metres.
Roc de Nantbellet
A family hike whose route offers a first section in the forest, then panoramic views of the surrounding peaks such as Arclosan, Charvin, Hautes Bauges, Mont Blanc, and the Tamié valley.
Notre-Dame de Tamié Abbey
This circular starts in Mercury and climbs up to the small pass of Tamié, then continues to Notre-Dame de Tamié Abbey. It continues via the small pass of Tamié before descending towards Plancherine and returning to Mercury .
The Mont Charvin circular
A somewhat aerial hike offering spectacular views. The passage by the lake provides an opportunity for a pleasant break.
As the route includes a section of via ferrata, cables are in place during the summer season on the most difficult parts. However, it is not recommended to attempt this route in wet weather, as some sections can be slippery and falls are not permitted.
The final section of this hike is reserved for experienced hikers.
Lac du Mont Charvin via Col des Porthets
A moderately difficult hike through the steep, rocky mountain pastures of Mont Charvin. From the Fontanettes car park in the commune of Le Bouchet, the climb takes you past the Chalet des Fontanettes and the Chalet de l'Aulp de Marlens, then through the valley to the Col des Porthets. From there, descend to join the path coming from Manigod and climb back up to the lake. The return journey follows the same route.
Lac du Mont Charvin
An out and return walk to Lac du Mont Charvin. Passing through woodland, then pasture before entering the higher and more rocky terrain. Great views Mont Blanc from the ridge above the lake.
Col du Fer
Walk to the Col du Fer near Mont Charvin and its lake.
There is little elevation gain, so it is suitable for everyone, and if there is no fog, you can enjoy a magnificent panorama.
Belle Étoile circular, return via Chalet Périllet
From the summit of Belle Étoile, you will be treated to breathtaking views. Following a path that runs almost entirely through the woods, you will reach the Croix de Périllet and then, after a steep section, the Croix du Sommet de Belle Étoile. On one side, you will overlook Mercury and the Olympic city of Albertville (1992 Winter Olympics) and on the other, the Tamié valley and its Cistercian-Trappist monastery. In the distance, you can see Lake Annecy, Mont Blanc and Mont Granier.
Route from Col de l'Arpettaz to Boegneuve
Starting from the Col de l'Alpettaz, this is a walk for the whole family. Magnificent views, breathtaking vistas and, as a bonus, if the weather is not too foggy, the Mont Blanc massif. You can even buy Savoyard cheeses.

The Parc du Mouton
A lovely circular route to reach a summit with 360° panoramic views. A climb through the forest to reach the refuge, then a short ridge. A cool descent along the torrent will take you back to the abbey, which you can visit or buy some of the famous cheese!
Tour of the Val de Tamié
The Val de Tamié site is remarkable for its Cistercian abbey nestled on the side of Tête Noire and its former military fort. The hike takes place in the valley. It starts from the abbey car park, with a steep climb, a walk downhill through the woods, a visit to the Fort de Tamié, a magnificent view of Mont Blanc at the Collet de Tamié, then the descent to the Moulin de Tamié.
Roc de Viuz
At the southernmost tip of the Tournette massif, a balcony crossing leads to the impressive Roc de Viuz promontory. This large, steep slope, clearly visible from the road, is well worth a visit.
Tour of Bisanne
An easy circular hike that alternates between descents and ascents with magnificent views of Mont Blanc, the Beaufortain massif and the Aravis.

A family hike offering a 360° panorama of the valleys and mountains surrounding Les Saisies resort (Mont Blanc, Val d'Arly, Beaufortain).
The summit of Sulens from Serraval
This route will take you from Serraval to the summit of Sulens on the ridge of Montagne de Sulens. This mountain, located between the Aravis and Bornes ranges, offers extraordinary views of both, as well as much of the Bauges Massif. Two orientation tables at the summit provide hikers with information on the names of the many peaks visible in the surrounding area. Half of this hike takes place in the forest.
Tour of Mont Lachat
Short, easy hike with beautiful panoramic views of the Aravis and Mont Blanc. Lac du Mont Lachat at the summit, very pleasant with picnic tables.
The Gorges of Stream Rouge
This is a round-trip hike through meadows and woods. The last part descends steeply to the wooden bridge over the Nant Rouge. This section can be quite slippery in wet weather.
⚠️Recommended for experienced hikers due to its dangerous nature (steep and very slippery sections).
