Menhirs and Dolmens of Le Bernard
Hike through the countryside of the commune of Le Bernard to discover six dolmens, including the largest in the Vendée (the Frébouchère dolmen), four menhirs and a Gallo-Roman tower. Information panels are provided at each site. A significant part of the circuit is on tarmac. Can also be done by mountain bike.
From the wash house to the dolmen in Longeville
A short, easy walk to discover an old windmill, the little Courolles wash house set amongst the greenery, and the Grand Bouillac Dolmen.
Start and finish 200 m from Bouil Beach in the commune of Longeville.
From Jard-sur-Mer to Saint-Vincent-sur-Jard
In Jard-sur-Mer, you can explore Sainte-Radegonde Church and Sainte-Anne Chapel, catch a glimpse of the miniature Eiffel Tower (in summer) and the Moulin de Conchette, and stroll along the beautiful Boisvinet Beach.
Continuing along the coast on the coastal path, the route will then take you to Clémenceau’s house in Saint-Vincent-sur-Jard.
The return journey to Jard-sur-Mer will then take you through the national forest.

Around the Grouin du Cou Lighthouse
Enjoy the woods and beach at La Tranche-sur-Mer.
Please note: part of the route runs along the beach and is not accessible at high tide. In this case, you can start from point (6) and reach point (2) via the forest paths.
Tour of Lake Finfarine
Enjoyable walk around the Finfarine dam lake in Poiroux (85) with numerous shaded paths.
Two circuits are available:
- a short 7 km circuit,
- a long 9 km circuit.
La Pointe du Payré
A short hike for lovers of unspoilt nature.
The Guittière marshes
Discover the Guittière marshes and Port de la Guittière, and sample oysters (with tasting) from the producers.
Marshland and castle in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire
This route will introduce you to the town of Talmont with its marshes fed by the Payré River, which flows through the village of Talmont, also famous for its castle built by Richard the Lionheart.
Lac du Graon
A 13 km circuit along the edge of Lake Graon allows you to enjoy the local flora and fauna.
A very varied circuit with narrow paths and woodland trails... A real treat.
The circuit can be extended by small loops of around 2 km (La Renardière and Les Petites Touches).
Dune, forest, Veillon marsh
Hike along the dunes, forest and marshes. A biotope waiting to be discovered.
La route de la Vertonne in Grosbreuil
Circular to the east of the village of Grosbreuil with typical Vendée bocage landscapes. Calm and relaxing, it allows you to discover a diverse flora, a beautiful sunken path and the trail called "Sentier des Gaulois" (Gaulish Trail).

The Piquet and Pierre aux Fées valleys
Two unique and very different valleys: Piquet with its granite chaos and the darker and more peaceful Pierre aux Fées.
Aubépine trail starting from Le Tablier
A hike starting from a charming village, passing through La Gerbaudière with its old farms and the ruins of an ancient castle tower (the leaning tower). Nature is not to be outdone with the passage through the Yon valley and charming sites such as Boutet and the ford at La Roussière. A few megaliths are visible, such as the Pierre qui Vire, and in the village of Le Tablier, some house walls are built on granite blocks.
