Start from the Vallée de l'Yon car park, next to the Aubonnière stopover lodge.
(S/E) Take the path downhill to the left. When you reach the river, turn right and follow the Yon.
(1) Once at the dyke where it is possible to cross, follow the path climbing to the right, marked with red and white signs forthe GR®® 364.
Reach the hamlet of Grand Rochereau.
(2) At the tarmac road, turn left then continue along the path which leads further on to a road (viewpoint on the left). Go straight on and, on the descent, look for a path on the right.
(3) Take this and follow the path straight on until you reach a small stream, which may be dry in summer.
(4) Just before the stream, take the path branching off to the right and follow it alongside the stream, passing several footbridges which you should not cross. Continue until you reach a fork after passing the third one.
(5) Take the path that climbs steeply to the right and leads onto a wider track. Turn right, then right again when you reach the road.
(6) At the bend to the right, in the hamlet of Le Vigneau, take the path on the left which leads to Le Pré Haut and joins a road. Follow it to the next path on the left.
(7) Turn left at a 90° angle, then right, and you will reach a road.
(8) Head left, cross a bridge, then, once at the Aubonnière crossroads, turn right to reach the Vallée de l’Yon car park (S/E).
