(S/E) Departure from the church in St Vincent Sur Graon.
Take Rue du Choselier (opposite the town hall), which will take you to the Graon dam.
Take the path on your left immediately after the dam. The path is marked with small signs depicting two hikers in blue.
Stay on this path, following the banks of the Graon for about 4 km.
(1) When you reach the road, turn left and climb up to the village of Montorgueil.
At the crossroads, take the road on your left.
Stay on this road for about 1 km, watching out for cars as visibility is not always good. You can walk on the side of the road.
(2) After crossing Lake Graon, take the first path on your left.
Ignore the first two paths (on your left and then on your right) and continue straight ahead for about 500m (from the road).
(3) Stay on the path that branches off to your left. This will gradually take you back to the banks of the Graon.
Continue along the banks of the Graon for about 4-5 km. Keep following the marked trail (see signs).
As you follow the path, you will leave the banks of the Graon via a steep path that will eventually lead you to a wider path (on your left) which will eventually lead you to the road.
You will arrive in the village of Les Petites Touches.
(4) After 400m, look carefully on your left: a path about 400m long will take you to the road leading to the village of St Vincent Sur Graon. Cross the Graon lake again, continuing along this road.
(5) Please note: there are two routes available depending on the season. You can take the path on your left just after crossing the Graon. This path will take you to a riverbank that is submerged for much of the year. Runners who like getting their feet wet will love this in spring.
For others, it is better not to take this path and stay on the main road until you reach the village of St Vincent Sur Graon. For the brave souls who have crossed the submerged bank, stay on the road, which will also take you to the village of St Vincent (S/E).
