The Balcons de la Têt and the Yellow Train
A climb with the Yellow Train from Fontpedrouse to La Cabanasse and a beautiful tree-lined descent along the Têt.
A very beautiful hike, partly in the forest, this is a different variation of La Cabanasse to Planès offered by PO Express, with the possibility of finding some ceps depending on the season, and passing under the Gisclard Bridge, a true work of art for its time.

Pla de Barrès
This hike to Pla de Barrès, known as Little Canada, is a lovely circular loop along the La Têt river in the municipality of Bolquère.
Orri de Planès - Étang de Planès
This circular hike is short but involves a significant elevation gain relative to the distance covered. It does not follow any roads and climbs gradually through the Planès Communal Forest, then out into the open along the edge of the Cambre d’Aze to the small Étang de Planès and its small shelter for hikers
The trees of Haut Conflent
This is a pleasant, easy hike, mostly through the woods. The trail is dotted with signs identifying the tree species commonly found in Conflent.
Le Cambre d'Aze

La Llagonne – Lac d’en Calvet – Pla de Barrès – Mont-Louis

This route starts from the village of La Llagonne but could just as easily begin from the Citadel of Mont-Louis or Lac d’en Calvet.

This balcony route, with its many panoramic views, will allow you to discover the little-known village of Sauto and its surroundings.
The Bouillouses Dam via the GR® 10 and the Têt Valley
From Superbolquère, a hike that isn’t too difficult but features a technical section from Estany Llarg (Long Lake) via Estany Negre (Black Lake) to the Têt Valley. The path is very rocky at the start, followed by a stony descent!
Pic d'Eyne via the Eyne Valley
Hike in the Eyne Valley, classified as a national nature reserve. There are many species of flowers (the best time to do this hike is in June when they are in full bloom), as well as animals typical of our mountains such as marmots and chamois.
Access to the Eyne Valley is restricted, and there is an information sign at the start of the hike. Dogs are not allowed.
The Orri Valley by Planès
This is a magnificent hike in the hills above Fontpédrouse (66) and more specifically in Prats-Balaguer (a hamlet of the latter) where you will find a haven of peace from start to finish. You will discover one of the most beautiful valleys in the Pyrénées-Orientales, namely the beautiful Vallée de l'Orri.
Refuge des Fornells and Coll del Pam from Pyrénées 2000
A lovely circular walk in the forest, from Pyrénées 2000 to Coll del Pam (col du lopin de terre). Viewpoint over the mountains from Carlit to Canigou at the end.
Circular forest loop between the Col de Quillane and La Llagonne
This hike, mostly through forest, will introduce you to a wild, mountainous landscape. You will enjoy this shaded hike in summer and winter on snowshoes, following part of the Voie Blanche (groomed and free).
The elevation gain is low and the trails are wide enough to enjoy the scenery in complete tranquillity.
You can take shortcuts to give your legs a rest at point (3) or point (10).
Sègre Gorges
This route will take you deep into the Segre Gorges (a paradise for Via Ferrata climbers) andtake you to the ridges of the Sant Feliu Chapel with its breathtaking views, and, as the icing on the cake, the hot springs at the end of the route.
Llo Lion Circular Route
Apart from an interest in a play on words, we found no trace of the feline along this pretty route, which quickly rises above the village of Llo and allows you to visit Sant Féliu in its chapel. The view over Cerdanya is breathtaking and remains so all the way to the Pla plateau. A forest track on a balcony ensures the return to Port de Llo, from where it is easy to reach the narrow streets of the old village.
