Park in front of the town hall (space for two or three cars maximum) or on the left-hand side of the D10 just before reaching the village (recycling bins).
Yellow markings
(S/E) Head towards the village and, at Saint-Maurice Church, turn left into Rue du Castell towards La Llagonne. At the last house, leave the Route de Sauto and follow the marked path to the right.
Ignore all side paths until you reach a junction with a small road; continue straight on to reach the Pla de l'Ous road.
(1) At this point, walk alongside the Pla de l'Ous reservoir and turn right just before the end of the reservoir to continue along the path, which is still marked in yellow. Follow the main path to the village of La Llagonne.
(2) Cross the road carefully at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight ahead to reach a junction marked by signposts. Turn left towards Fetges. The path is still clearly signposted.
(3) Cross the D118 again at the pedestrian crossing and head straight ahead. Keep left immediately at the Fork in the road: you are now on Chemin de Prat Marra. At the sharp left-hand bend, near a sewage treatment plant, take the path straight ahead leading to the hamlet of Fetges.
(4) Once in the hamlet, follow Carrerada straight ahead, then turn left onto Chemin de l’École Fetges until the first junction, where you should turn left onto Chemin de la Guardia. At the last houses, turn left onto the path leading to the D10.
(5) Continue to the left. This section offers magnificent views of the famous Col Mitja and the Gisclard Bridge, which is the only railway bridge still in service in France to be listed as a Historic Monument. Take great care when walking on this narrow road, which has no hard shoulder.
(6) Ignore the small road on the left and continue to the right to reach the car park (S/E).
