The Tendon waterfalls

A trail in the heart of the Vosges forest will take you to two magnificent waterfalls and across a few small streams. Of course, like all water trails, it is best to visit outside the dry seasons, otherwise it loses all its appeal. The trail is fairly well marked (red rings) and there are picnic tables along the way (especially in the first part).
"Brown Fleur de Lys" loop via Les Baraques and the Canal de l'Est
Starting from the car park at the Manufacture Royale in Bains-les-Bains, this walk will soon be marked with brown fleurs-de-lis signs. After passing through lock 32, you will climb gently through the woods towards the hamlet of Les Baraques, then join lock 31 and finish on the towpath between the river and the canal.

Starting from the Royal Manufactory in Bains-les-Bains, hike along the towpath between the Canal de l'Est and the Rivière le Coney. Pipée footbridge, Bois de la Pipée and crossing of the hamlet of Les Baraques. Descend through the woods to lock no. 32.
"Blue Lily" loop starting from the Manufacture Royale de Bains
Hike starting from the Manufacture Royale in Bains-les-Bains, a magnificent 18th-century industrial site. Follow the blue fleurs-de-lis signs
Boucle - Royal Manufactory - Hautmougey
Loop starting from the Manufacture Royale de Bains, through the forest, the fields on the Plateau de la Fosse le Loup and along the Canal de l'Est.

"Orange Fleur de Lys" loop starting from the Manufacture Royale
Starting from the Manufacture Royale in La Vôge-les-Bains, this hike first passes along the Coney and the Canal de l'Est, then through Fontenoy-le-Château, before making a wide loop on the plateau to reach the Maison Forestière de la Pipée. The return journey follows the Ruisseau de Gruey to rejoin the Coney and return to the Manufacture Royale.

A lovely walk at altitude to the highest village in the Vosges department.

Loop on the Haut de Belué

A short but very beautiful hike to the summit of Haut de Bélué, 870 m high. It overlooks the Grandrupt valley and offers a superb panorama of the Haute Moselle valley, dominated by the silhouettes of the Alsace and Servance balloons. The site features a forest chalet open to the public, a children's play area, picnic tables and an orientation table with a view of the Vosges ridges.

Piquante Pierre trail, Col de la Croix des Moinats, Haut du Roc

A beautiful route, 80% of which is uncovered. Lots of paths and trails and few paved roads. The route runs along the edge of the forest with beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.
Esmoulières circuit

An easy route that runs alongside numerous ponds. Very pleasant in the October sunshine, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful colours of our forests as they turn golden and purple.
Please note, however, that there is a short section on the road (with little traffic).
In the centre of the thousand ponds

Route slightly modified, description revised and corrected.
This is a lovely, easy route that allows you to admire around sixty ponds. Information boards help you discover and understand how these ponds were formed and are used. Much of the route is on small paved roads.
This route is partly based on signposts in the field, so be sure to follow the description carefully.
Circuit des Noirs Étangs

Starting at the Étang Noir and its lookout point, the trail leads from pond to pond, skirting a peat bog and crossing a pond on a wooden bridge leading to a chalet, making for a shady and very easy walk. As a bonus, there are lovely views of the Vosges mountains and the Thillot valley.
In Le Ménil-Thillot: Tête des Champs, Chapelles de la Salette and Chapelles de Pitié

A superb four-hour walk in the hills above Ménil-Thillot (between Cornimont and Le Thillot), best done in May or June when the meadows and broom are in bloom! This easy walk is an unforgettable foray into the bountiful nature of the Hautes-Vosges.
