A trail linking the two spa towns, accessible to all, on foot or by bike.

With a variety of landscapes and natural environments, a rich heritage and a dip to cool off after your walk, here’s what’s in store on this lovely hike!

Suitable for everyone, this route will allow you to discover the diversity of the landscapes and the rich variety of flora and fauna found in the aquatic and woodland environments.

Throughout this walk, you’ll discover two spa towns (Vittel and Contrexéville) and all they have to offer. You’ll also pass through Bulgnéville, Mandres-sur-Vair and Norroy-sur-Vair, before returning to your starting point.

A lovely walk with plenty of points of interest, including Pont Tatal with its climbing and bungee jumping site, and Froideval Abbey set in lush green surroundings. Many other points of interest await you along the route.

Follow in the footsteps of Victor Hugo's ancestors on a beautiful trail offering magnificent views in a varied landscape of pastures, crops and forests.This route has little shade, so take care in hot weather.

Starting from Mirecourt, this loop is an enjoyable way to discover the heritage and countryside of the Vosges. The route passes through varied landscapes: village lanes, hedged paths, open fields and rivers crossed by charming wooden footbridges. Along the way, you will reach the village of Poussay and then Mazirot. Between nature and heritage, this accessible hike offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a half-day outing.

A lovely walk, offering remarkable views over the Mouzon valley. The route is straightforward for the majority of the walk. The only slightly technical sections requiring your attention are: - Near the landmark (3), the stony descent towards the Grotte de l’Enfer, - After the waypoint (8), the descent down the rudimentary staircase, facing the drop, is a little dizzying.

La randonnée débute sur le plateau du Verbamont. Vous traverserez les chênaies puis descendrez dans une première vallée d'un ruisseau sauvage, en saison quelques petites cascades et un paysage de mousses verte. Découverte d'un bel étang à Senennes, puis votre parcours se poursuit surplombant la rivière Ourche toujours sur des petits sentiers forestiers. La majeure partie de cette boucle se fait sur des chemins forestiers, parfois difficiles d'accès, et hors des sentiers. Il est fortement conseillé de se munir de l'application Visorando afin d'éventuellement se géolocaliser.

An “adventure” walk along the Houdrie Valley and the Gorge le Loup Valley, above and alongside the Ruisseau de Thiètry, with beautiful green moss on the rocks and lovely waterfalls if the water level permits. The walk takes you along unpaved roads and forest paths. The best time of year for this route is spring. We recommend using the Visorando app, as some sections of the trail are poorly marked.

An adventurous walk through a diverse forest, past numerous ponds at Clairey, the Étang Bleu and the Morillon, the Museum of Glass, Iron and Wood, and the blueberry farm at Briseverre.

An easy walk taking you past ponds and through woodland. Discover a superb pond with crystal-clear water in the heart of the forest. Stop off at the Clairey Residence Museum to discover the valley’s heritage of traditional crafts.

Circular route mainly through woodland, where you’ll hike through forests covered in green moss. Highlights include impressive rocks, a river, streams and small waterfalls.

This signposted circular trail was created and is maintained by the Club Vosgien, and the trail is marked with a Red Circle. The suggested starting point is at the Hutte Arboretum, but it is also possible to start at the Musée de la Résidence.

A handful of stragglers lost in the aftermath of the Grande Armée’s rout are said to have inspired the names of a few local places in this corner of the Vosges, between the fir and deciduous forests, the valley and the ‘Plaine de Moscou’. The hamlets of Moscou and Jérusalem lie along the way, a little nod to geography and history. You can pick up a jar of honey from the Miellerie de Jérusalem or stay in a cabin at the “La Clairière du Verbamont” campsite.

A pleasant walk around the site of the former Morimond Abbey and through the woods of the same name. Morimond Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded in 1115, is the mother house of more than seven hundred monasteries for men and women in France and Europe. The route also takes you past the Morimond Lakes, a series of artificial lakes created by the Cistercian monks to supply water to the abbey’s various outbuildings: gardens, mills, sawmill, nail-making workshop, and so on.

This stage follows the southern part of the Eurovélo 19 "La Meuse à vélo" route (1,050 km from Langres to Rotterdam). From Neufchâteau, we follow the meandering Mouzon, a tributary of the Meuse. We then leave it behind, taking less travelled but more direct roads that avoid the meanders of the Meuse. We rejoin the EV19 just before the "Source de la Meuse" site, on the Langres plateau crossed by three watersheds. With the plateau reaching a height of 450 m, the gradients are not significant, but on arrival, you will need to make a little effort to climb the promontory on which the Citadel of Langres is perched. Your reward: a splendid view at dusk!
